v1.0

Oakley is quest for unique Arms and Armor but at same time it is fight and house mod. There are two houses to be had and you can choose for yourself whichever you prefer. Both are intact Wasteland-Suburban house but inside they are decorated quite differently. One is full of graffiti and mess perfect for all Raiders, Raider-lovers and Cannibals among you while other house is complete opposite as it is clean, very orderly and with one hidden surprise. These houses are located in the same rough neighbourhood near Bethesda Ruins. Arms and armor included are unique Chinese Red Dragons Stealth Armor with Powerful Stealth Field Generator, US SpecOps Officer's Uniform, two Chinese Fang Swords and two laser rifles from Classic Fallout Series. All items and house interiors have new previously unpublished retextures.

All quest items are in possession of old US Army SpecOps Commander Jane Oakley which lives on her own near Bethesda's Ruins. Finding this area and her house should be easy but reaching her might prove difficult as area around Bethesda is native and undisputed turf of big and very aggressive group of Raiders - Psychos. They are hunters and they hunt their human pray in well organized packs often led by their chieftain named Big Bill. Beware of them as you are for them just food to catch and slaughter.

Key to Jane Oakley's fortified hill-top house is somewhere in Chieftain Bill's personal Harem. But beware of Bill's Harem Bitches (his mama's) as they are renowned among violence crazed Psychos for being meanest and nastiest of them all! They might be pretty and willing but they are dangerous and extremely deadly at close range. You have been warned! ;)

How the key for Jane's house got there in the first place will become quite clear once you find it.

Storyline is made as trail of proverbial bred-crumbs in form of notes-keys-holodisks. Your progress should be obvious and there will be no pop-up quest-stage-reached / finished messages at all. Like in real life all you need to do is to search around a little bit and use/read/follow notes and clues in messages you will find. They are important part of game-play.

Careless use of cheats (for locked doors) will just break immersion and obscure meaning but that is your choice.

Hint: Good and quite interesting place for start are destroyed hillside Suburban houses in the back of Bethesda Ruins close to Bethesda Underwork Entrance but you can reach this - same area from any other side or direction. That is up to you.

Objectives are simple: find Psychos> find Bill's Harem>get in>find key to Jane's house>find and enter Jane's house > exit. These objectives are simple enough but actual execution of same might not be as whole tribe of hungry cannibals is there - waiting on you! ;)

Installation:

Extract or copy/paste all files into your Fallout game folder. When you are asked to overwrite files under meshes and textures, select 'yes to all'.

Use Start Game Options or FOMM to Activate Dalls_Oakley.esp mod plug-in.

Load order should not be of any importance and there should not be any conflicts whatsoever but you must make addition to your game Archiveinvalidation.txt file!

For this I would wholeheartedly recommend use of F3ArcInv or ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated. These utilities can be found at:

http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=149
http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=944

Note on Laser_Rifle_Missing_Textures: Missing Laser Rifle textures. You need to install this files!

Update on previous game shortcomings: Some good news, it seems that game patch v1.7 finally resolves problem of companions not being able to follow PC/you inside new / modded interior location. This is based on my tests with mixed bunch of companions, game ones and ones made by me. Now they all seem to behave /follow player as they should.

Note on v1.1: Small service update which brings this mod in line with v1.7 patch and tries to remedy mysterious crashes some of you have experienced with v1.0. Beside this quite obscure goal it adds some new user/RPG friendly rooms and (safe) storage to HQ Base. Install last.
