Completely replaces the various cricket chirping with silence.
I found that there are 2 different types of Cricket playing; those that are in the wasteland and those that play in "Oasis" cells
The Oasis crickets are ridiculously loud and play on a loop. I hated this and so decided to do something about it.
The Wasteland crickets are much quieter and play randomly once or twice every minute.
With these files in place wandering around the Wasteland is now rather quiet... disconcertingly so.
I've noticed that after removing the infernal noise I became jumpier to every other noise that I hear. With the crickets at full blast I just couldn't hear anything.
Makes the wasteland feel almost completely dead, which unnerves me no end.
Installation

Extract the .RAR archive into your Fallout 3 folder. I have included an ArchiveInvalidation.txt in the file, so if you don't already have ArchiveInvalidation.txt then feel free to use the one I have provided. If you do already have one then read the README included for further instructions.
Open FALLOUT.INI (default ...\My Documents\My Games\Fallout3\FALLOUT.INI) with any text editor and change the value of bInvalidateOlderFiles from 0 to 1 (i.e., bInvalidateOlderFiles=1).

I have made 3 files, you only need one.
No Cricket Noise - ALL Regions:
Mutes every cricket in every different type of 'cell'. Use if you hate all the cricket noises.
No Cricket Noise - Wasteland:
Mutes the cricket noises played in the Wasteland only. Use if you want the Oasis 'cells' to still feel alive.
No Cricket Noise - Oasis:
Mutes the cricket noises played in the Oasis only. Use if you want hate the oppressivly loud "Oasis Crickets" but still want the quieter and less determined-to-ruin-your-eardrum "Wasteland Crickets".
Uninstallation

Remove the files located in the directory specified by the ArchiveInvalidation.txt
You can also remove the lines added to your ArchiveInvalidation.txt, but you don't really need to. If these point to no files then Fallout 3 will simply use the default
(Although why you would want to is beyond me. They are just too loud.)
