Prefered to start new game and on Hard Difficulty if you won't start new game you will find some bugs like NPCs without any items, but if you don't start new game you will need to sleep/wait/rest for like 24 hours in a place away from any NPCs to let game fully load mod.

After War mod adds most weapons from Fallout 2 and changes game mechanics. To play you need to start new game otherwise you can find many bugs like Super Mutants without any items.


Changes:

-All NPCs use ammo even your group members.
-Makes chems, drugs and stimpaks harder to find.
-Chems, drugs and stimpaks have weight now.
-Everything is much more expensive also vendors carry more caps.
-Weapons have about 5-10x more durability.
-Few perks are changed.
-Each point of Strength gives you 25 carry weight (Calculation: 25 base CW + 25 CW per each point of STR gives you 275 CW with 10 STR) and each point of Agility gives you 5 Action Points (Calculation: 50 base AP + 5 AP per each point of AGI gives you 100 AP with 10 AGI).
-Now you need many more EXP to level up.
-Food and alcohols are more useful.
-All weapons do a bit more damage and grenades are deadly.
-Upgraded Power Armors and few other types.
-Changed skills Energy Weapons to 2-Handed Weapons and Small Guns to Hand Guns.(you can hate me for that :P).
-Every weapon is different. For example Chinese Pistol is stronger than 10mm Pistol but not as accurate and fast as 10mm Pistol (so don't always look at calculated damage in Pipboy, usually better weapons are a bit more expensive but it doesn't mean they can kill faster).
-Changed names of various types of NPCs. You won't longer see weak raider with knife or strong one with Sniper Rifle called "Raider" but "Raider Scavenger" or "Raider Brute" etc.
-Super Mutants, Robots and Deathclaws and few other NPCs are harder to kill now.
-Deathclaws, Ghouls and few other melee classes have their movement speed increased a bit.
-Crippled legs effect increased (1 leg crippled -30% speed, both legs -60%)

v1.1 changes:

-Added 2 new weapons: M1 Garand (.308cal) and Dragunov (7.62mm) Sniper Rifles.
-G11 pipboy image now works properly.
-Nerfed Cattle Prod it's a bit weaker and now it paralyzes only with critical hit.
-Added new perk Gun Lover which gives you 5 points to 2-Handed Guns and Hand Guns.
-Changed Nerd Rage! perk to Enrage! and now it also increases dmg by 25% instead of Strength.
-Changed name of book "Nicola Tesla and You" to "Guns and You" (because i changed Energy Weapons skill with 2-Handed Guns).
-Gun Nut perk changed to Repairman perk and now it gives 10 points to repair skill.

v1.2 changes:

-New weapon M16A1 (uses sadly 7.62mm ammo :/)
-Followers have a bit less hp now.
-Star Paladin Cross follower wears few new weapons now.
-All followers level up with you.
-Dogmeat is faster now.
-Fixed ammo bug with followers (they didn't have ammo and couldn't shoot with their weapons).
-Cattle Prod no longer paralyzes the target.
-And few more bug fixes.

v1.3 changes:

-3 new weapons Toxic Launcher, Acid Spreader and Disintegrating Grenade.
-2 new types of ammo Toxic Bombs and Acid.
-Ammo amount in boxes is reduced by about 50%.
-Drugs and chems are more harder to find in boxes.
-Stimpaks are addictive now (10% chance to addict)
-Radiation Disease is more dangerous.
-Addicts are more dangerous now.
-M16A1 repair bug fixed.
-Yao Guai are a bit faster and stronger.
-Needler Pistol now poisons targets and also paralyzes them with critical hit.
-Few more minor changes and bug fixes.

v1.4 changes

-Weapon Overhaul!
-New Gun: Gauss Rifle (uses 2 Microfusion Cells per shot).
-Added WeaponsInfo.txt with informations about all weapons! (It's .txt file and you need to read it with low font)
-Now weapons shoots equal amount of bullets to their shooting speed (If FN FAL has 9 bullets per second speed then it will shoot 9 bullets in VATS).
-Fixed bug which let you repair H&K CAWS with Combat Shotgun.
-Stimpak withdrawal can be cured by doctors.

v1.4.1 changes:

-Decreased amount of ammo carried by Raiders, Super Mutants, Enclave, BoS, Outcasts and Talons
-Fixed bugs with Super Mutants and Followers weapons.
-Charon's Shotgun is better now (more accurate and faster).
-Frag mines cost 75 caps and deal 125 damage (down from 100 and 150)
-Fixed texture bug with M16A1, it should work correctly now.



v2.0 changes: Canceled!





Test Box:

I added Box to the Tenpenny Tower, Citadel and Megaton's Clinic. In the box you can find all weapon and ammo types which are in the game. That doesn't change anything, it's same what version 1.4.1 .esp. USE ONLY 1 .ESP!!! "AFTER WAR.ESP" OR "AFTER WAR TEST.ESP" ! ! !

Installation

1.Copy all files to your Data directory
2.Launch FalloutLauncher.exe --> Data Files --> Mount After War.esp and press OK. To uninstall just delete After War.esp
