*IMPORTANT*
For this to work, you must go into your FALLOUT.ini (located in "*yourdrive*:\Documents and Settings\*yourname*\My Documents\My Games\Fallout3"), and change this line:
"bInvalidateOlderFiles=0"
to this:
"bInvalidateOlderFiles=1"

This mod will change the Assault Rifle to look like a modern-day G3a3, including olive furnishings.

Based on Alex Scorpion's texture (And with his permission), I've lightened up the metal somewhat, and replaced his black furnishings with nice olive colored ones. More or less, what it does, is turn the Assault Rifle into the quintessential stereotypical G3.

INSTALLATION:
Just open the zip, and place the Textures folder into your
Fallout 3/Data folder. Answer "yes" to overwrite - it'll only overwrite other G3 textures.

Add this to your ArchiveInvalidation:

PLANS:
I honestly don't know if there's much else to do with it. A better 3rd person normal map, but I have never been able to do those very well. The reason for a better world normal is because I used the default sling mounts on the stock, which aren't there in Alex's version - which means I had to pick between the two normals. I picked the default style for the sling mounts, but it means the foregrip doesn't look as good as it can. I'd gladly appreciate anyone skilled at normal mapping to make one for it, of course.
