About this mod
My third skin, makes the Centaur more freakish and disturbing.
- Permissions and credits
When I was going through the world of Fallout 3, I noticed that everything had a rather grim look to them. Whether it be Deathclaws, Super Mutants, Raiders, Bloatflies, even dogs. One thing that irked me was the Centaur, but I still have no idea why. I felt that it wasn't as brutal or gory as it should be.
Therefore, I made this skin as an attempt to give this new strain of Centaur a different look. I added several vomit marks, made it overall darker and more bloody, changed the skeletal bone fragments on the body and tongue to be more darker and robust, and a few other changes. I personally liked how it came out.
=Installation instructions=
1) Make sure you set the bInvalidateOlderFiles in your FALLOUT.ini [or whatever it was] to 1. It's located in My Documents\My Games\Fallout 3.
2) Extract the centaur folder to C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\Data\textures\creatures. Put the ArchiveInvalidation.txt [if you don't have one] in Fallout 3\Data.
3) Add this line to your ArchiveInvalidation.txt if you already have it:
textures/creatures/centaur/centaur.dds
4) Enjoy.
