If you are upgrading from Claw BETA then please remove DeathclawCompanion.Esp from your fallout3/Data folder and re-install Claw. Claw's .Esp file now uses a Different name (ClawCompanion.ESP) so please enable it with FOMM or FO3 Launcher, Thanks.

Things to note

This is a WIP (Work In Progress) so please keep this in mind when Rating this mod. I will add lots to Claw over time but thought I would release him now so we can all work out how best to make him better. Anyone who uses any of my mods knows I give lots of support so if you have any comment, questions or ideas then PM me or leave a comment or even Email Me @: [email protected]

Claw's Very Overpowered at the moment, He's designed to be played on Hard to Very Hard and with Mart's Increased Spawn mods. There not required but it's advised that you use them.

Also I would not use claw unless you have completed the game at least Once or he will seriously unbalance your enjoyment of this Great game.

Update:
Claw's had his health dropped down to a more realistic level (About Half his previous health) but he's got a lot more drawbacks now like he needs about 6 stimpaks to fully heal him due to his large size.

Claw's Not set to Essential so he can Die. Its unlikely but keep this in mind.

Claw's Set to Ignore all friendly fire attacks but there will be options to change this and the Essential flag in Claw's first release.

VERSION 1.0:
Fixed the problem where Claw would not return home when fired because he runs into a firefight or gets stuck, Toned His Stats down a little more, Added custom texture to Claw that does not change the default Deathclaw Texture (Texture and Nif work by: Sam Lake - Thanks You Sam). Added Home Marker System, Added Essential and Friendly Fire toggles, Tweaked Claw's health down a little and a few other minor things.

BETA 2:
Added the Enclave Head gear to Claw (See Screenshot), Removed Claw's auto-heal which I felt seriously made him overpowered, Gave Claw his own Body Part Data so modders and add a new Mesh/Texture to him without altering Default Deathclaws, Tweaked his stats down about Half (See update above), Increased his follow distance slightly, A few other minor tweaks.

Initial Release.


Know Issues

Nothing apart from he may get stuck every now and again due to his size which is a little smaller than a regular Deathclaw but if it happens just use his teleporter. This is not really a issue but he does like to wander and pause every now and again which is normal, Don't worry he will catch up to you, Claw does not have a voice yet apart from random chatter which uses the Super mutant voice which fits him best. He does not say much but I am hoping to get help from you guys on adding more dialogue to him.

Theres a Unsolveable Issues as far has I can see where claw will shoot up into the sky repeated. If you wait a while it usually corrects itself or you can change areas(Cell) to an Indoor area and then use Claws Teleporter. I think this is due to him getting stuck every now and again and as Deathclaws where never meant to be companions it maybe unsolveable.

How to Find Claw
________________
Look for him Near the banks of the Exterior of Rivet City. If you go down the platform below the Rivet City Sign, Go forward a little to the Column and Statue and look to your left. He's down a little slope. If you have the COMM mod installed he's next to the Boat that ports you. See Screen-Shots.



How to Install Claw

Copy the Data folder into your Fallout 3 Folder and Overwrite when Prompted to. Enable ClawCompanion.esp with Fallout 3 Launcher or with FOMM(Fallout 3 Mod Manager).

How to use Claws Features
__________________________
In and out of Battle Claw can be healed if you have enough stimpaks. How this works is if Claw's health falls below 100% but above 60% you will be given an option when you talk to him to heal full all health and Cripple conditions for the cost of 1 player Stimpak, If Claw's Health falls below 60% then the same applies but the cost will be 2 player stimpaks for the same results.

Claw's Teleporter is useful if for instance he goes off on one of his wanders or if for instance you tell him to wait and you loose him. Also handy if he gets stuck due to his size.

As with all mods. Backup your saves before activating just in-case theres some major Plot/Game busting bug there. I doubt it but you never know. You have been warned!
