MERC - Military Engagement & Reconnaissance Corporation, is an expansion mod that adds a number of features to the game that allows you to forge a mercenary faction in the Capitol Wasteland.

During your Fallout 3 adventures you will be given the opportunity to save Blain and seize a secret underground military facility. With the help of Blain you will recruit essential personnel and begin recruitment for your new private security force.

You will then be able to work various contracts, gain a reputation, and even command your forces. You do however, have to be serious about managing your new enterprise because other factions take an extreme interest in you and your facility.
