Sorry to anyone who has had a question, or concern regarding installation, or any general unforeseen strangeness with these re-textures. I took a long break from messing around with custom textures, and PC gaming in general, so I didn't check this site that often, for a long time... I hope everyone was able to sort out his/her problems, and enjoy the retextures. Thanks for your kind words/endoresments/downloads!
Prioritize 6IX's retexture. His are much more faithful to the vanilla (the chinese book retex was even complemented by a chinese in the posts lol). PLus, he is more polite.
To anyone interested in this mod, there are some cases in wich after you install the mod textures remain vanilla, well i think i found a solution, after installing it and activated ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated! you must create a .txt file named ArchiveInvalidation in your main Fallout 3 folder and put the following lines in it (The last three lines are in case you want retexture "The wasteland survival guide" wich is an independent file in this mod and in wich you must select the appearance of the book like clean, dirty, skull, etc):
That worked for me, i used it several times with many texture mods wich at first didn´t work and suddenly they worked fine. I don't know if that's because the OS (I'm using windows 10) but for some reason the mods didn't create the .txt file when they should.

Hmm, it's entirely possible that my install instructions are out-dated, or something? I haven't had much to do with Fallout 3 in a very long time, so perhaps a method, or a step in the sequence has changed that I couldn't have forseen. Sorry for your troubles, I hope you can sort it out!
The Chinese Army Trainging Manual's cover says "min jie fang jun shi mao ze dong si xiang da xue xiao" instead of "ren min jie fang jun shi mao ze dong si xiang da xue xiao". Please fix this. Thank you.
Yeah, this is why I put the disclaimer on the front page... "Disclaimer- I don't speak, read or write any form of chinese. The skill book was designed on a purely visual/ascetical basis. If this bothers you, you don't have to use it." I can't change it, since all of my old Fallout 3 related .PSD files died along with my old hard drive. Not much I can do about it now. Thanks for checking the retextures out though.
