Really nice mod, just the level of realism I wanted in my game. I use the expanded version too, and I realize the mod isn't updated anymore, just wondering if anyone had issues with it such being stuck with the 'starvation' effect no matter how much food you ate... not even items marked as 'good meal' worked. Had to disable the mod temporarily.

EDIT: nvm, it seems it was a mod conflict...

    [ENDORSED]

Great mod makes the game more likely survival

However, why does Brahmin stake aren't included on the mod?

This is a necessary mod for realism.
I'm using it in conjunction with its sequel - "Simple Needs Expanded".
In this case I can customize the necessary needs for my character.
I usually assign the following needs for a day: water - 4 bottles, food - 2 large portions, sleep - 6 hours.

I am grateful to the author for the work done. This mod and its continuation make the game much more exciting.

All of these people complaining about the mod..just uninstall it if it doesn't work for you. It hasn't been updated since 2009, so use at your own risk. If you are having problems It because it is conflicting with another mod.

Despite this mod being from 2009, it works great. Easy, simple and it runs as described. Thanks. Endorsed.

It takes days for my character to get hungry, thirsty or tired, which is not very immersive. I want my character to need to eat, drink and sleep on a daily basis, not every 3-5 days.

I'm not familiar with that mod, but I have the Lone Wanderer Theme mod, which alters the Megaton house bed (without actually imparting changes), and makes Simple Needs sleeping not work. Simply loading Lone Wanderer Theme before Simple Needs made it give the sleep effect again. So you probably need to make Simple Needs load lower than Megaton House Overhaul.

A lot of wah wah wah from what I assume are inexperienced mod users. I don't mean his rudely. This mod works very well and is low impact and simple. Like any mod that changes items, the changes can get overridden by other mods. Unfortunately in my case the big offender seems to be the new Updated Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch. It prevents most of the pre-war food and most importantly the dirty and purified water from working. It is plain to see in FO3edit.

I have not played the game in 7 years so I don't know how to change it, patch it, esp, or anything. But it looks like a simple fix.

How to uninstall? I have negatives to my stats due to hunger and thirst, even after I removed the mod?! I get the hearbeat animation too, I could modify the stats with the console but to keep playing with that heartbeat thing going on all the time is not ok... How can I remove this mod effectively?

(Old post i know, but in case anyone reads this) You can't as far I know. And if you re-install the mod too many times you can completely break your game requiring a re-install and then you STILL have to start a new save because the old one will still have the negative effects. This mod is akin to malware

NOPE my initial suspicion was correct, I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt and wrongly assumed I had solved it before actually fully testing it. Not only does the mod fail to actually register when you consume aid items at all (so you eventually starve/dehydrate and get stuck with negative effects THAT DON'T EVEN GO AWAY AFTER UNINSTALL). And if that wasn't enough, re-installing the mod in Vortex multiple times led to my game crashing on launch irreparably. Had to re-install the entire game AND start a new save. Well done man, seriously, that's actually mildly impressive you could f*#@ up something this bad
