1. What it does
------------------------------------------------------

This mod adjusts two small settings to reduce the overall amount of 'stuff' you can carry (aka your overall carry weight). The overall change results in a 105 to 150 'pound' reduction in the amount that you can carry.

* The amount of carry weight you gain for each additional level of Strength has been reduced from 10 to 5.

* The ammount of initial starting weight you have has been reduced by 100.

Players may still take advantage of Stonger Back perk. In fact, you might need to if you wish to wear power armor of any type!

Select NPCs who wear power armor were also given more strength (STR) to give them more carry weight.

2. Feature Details
------------------------------------------------------

fAVDCarryWeightsBase changed from 150 to 50
[This reduces the initial starting weight of your character.]

fAVDCarryWeightMult changed from 10 to 5
[This reduces the amount of carry weight you gain from each point in Strength.]

STR 10: 100
STR 9: 95
STR 8: 90
STR 7: 85
STR 6: 80
STR 5: 75
STR 4: 70
STR 3: 65
STR 2: 60
STR 1: 55

The following NPCs were updated to have a strength (STR) of 7, to give them enough carry weight to carry power armor plus other weapons (they now have a carry weight of 85):

All Brotherhood of Steel
All Brotherhood Outcasts
All power-armor-wearing Enclave Soldiers

3. Known Issues

None

4. Installation Notes
------------------------------------------------------

This is probably best used with a "new" character. Enabling this mod with an existing savegame will ensure that any new containers, NPCs and vendors that you happen to find will have reduced ammo, but you'll probably already be carrying too much as it is, so the overall effect will be minimal.

5. Installation
------------------------------------------------------

* Copy the mod file into your Fallout 3 Data directory (eg: C:\Program Files\Fallout 3\Data\). Replace any existing version you may have.
* Launch the game using the standard menu.
* Click on Data Files.
* Double-click to select the mod file in the list and make sure it's checked.
* Click OK and start the game.

6. Conflicts
------------------------------------------------------

This mod will conflict with any other mod that change the game settings mentioned above.
