Location
========
The entrance to the base is in an abandoned house at Canterbury Commons. Look for the house called "Abandoned Home" and go to the kitchen.

I had the idea for this mod after seeing a Nazi uniform and SWAT uniform on the Nexus. I wanted similar clothing, but without any emblems, so I retextured the clothing myself. I also retextured the chinese pistol to remove all chinese writing from it. It is one of my favorite guns in the game and I thought it was seriously underpowered, so I fixed that as well.

The chinese pistol has a base damage rating of 4 and my broomhandle mauser has a base damage rating of 20. I also made a version that takes .32 ammo with a capacity of 5 instead of 10 and 43 base damage. By comparison, a 10mm Pistol has 9 base damage, Laser Pistol has 12, Plasma has 25, .44 Magnum has 35, and the Alien Blaster has 100. I think my two make nice in between guns.

You can buy the uniforms and normal broomhandle mauser from a merchant at back of the base. There is also a doctor and a bartender. The commander of the base will sell you a private bunker opposite of his for 1000 caps. The modified mauser is on a stand in your bunker.

I have included two esps. The Teleport esp adds a hat to your bunker that will teleport you back to your bunker anytime you wish. I figure some will consider that a cheat, so it is optional.

Install
=======
1. You must change the line "bInvalidateOldFiles" from 0 to 1 in My Games\Fallout3\Fallout.ini for my textures to show up.
2. You must add the line "bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles=1" under the [General] section in My Games\Fallout3\Fallout.ini or else all of the NPCs will have white faces.
3. Extract the files to a temporary location.
4. Copy files to Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\Data\
5. Start Fallout 3 Launcher, click 'Data Files', place a checkmark beside the Military Base Teleport.esp file if you want the teleporter hat, or beside Military Base.esp if you do not want the hat. Do not load both files.

Uninstall
=========
Delete the following folders:

Meshes\decrepithawk
Textures\decrepithawk
Textures\interface\icons\pipboyimages\decrepithawk
Textures\interface\icons\pipboyimages_small\decrepithawk

Also delete the following files:

Military Base.esp
Military Base Teleport.esp
Military Base Readme.txt

Known Issues or Bugs
====================
If you haven't fixed the satellite dish for Three Dog, the radios will not play in the base. They are all set to Galaxy News Radio, which doesn't reach to Canterbury Commons unless you fix the GNR satellite first.
