IMPORTANT! If you've downloaded an earlier version of this mod before: Please delete the "dartgun.nif" file in your data/meshes/weapons/1handpistol folder.

I've added a new mesh called "dartguntranq.nif" instead.

Hopefully the white texture problem is fixed now. Please comment and let me know!

Adds a new weapon called "Tranquilizer Dart Gun" to the game.

It's similar to the tranquilizer crossbow from Deus Ex. Once a target is hit it looses HP very slowly until it dies.

When the targets HP reach <=10% it gets paralyzed for 60 seconds and the poison effect ends. You can either leave them alone, pickpocket them or give them the killing blow. This was added to simulate the knockout effect of the tranquilizer crossbow from Deus Ex.

The magnitude of the poison is fixed and you can either choose the 15 damage/sec version, the 10 damage/sec version or the 5 damage/sec version.

The poison effect does NOT stack.

The Tranquilizer Dart Gun has a ammo capacity of 4 (like in Deus Ex) so you can poison multiple targets more easily.

The weapon is sold by Moira, Flak&Shrapnel and Tulip.
(Sadly I can't figure out how to sell weapons with poorer condition so it is sold at 100% starting condition)

It does NOT replace the original dart gun.

The original dartgun is now called the "Radscorpion Dart Gun" but the stats are the same as before. Seeing as how a Radscorpion poison gland is used in the schematic it makes sense, no?

It also has a custom texture (the model is the same).

NEW in 1.3: Added the paralysis effect to the police baton. The police baton was used for non-lethal knockouts in Deus Ex too. You only have to pound your enemies <=25% HP to knock them out (to compensate for the limited range of the baton).

This doesn't add a new weapon, it just adds a new effect to the police baton (no stats were changed).

MAIN FILE (ONLY CHOOSE ONE):
Tranquilizer_10: This version of the Tranquilizer Dart Gun deals 10 poison damage/sec and has the paralysis effect.

Tranquilizer_15: This version of the Tranquilizer Dart Gun deals 15 poison damage/sec and has the paralysis effect.

Tranquilizer_InstantParalyse: This version does NOT have any poison damage and paralyses the target immediately.

Only choose and use one of them at a time!

OPTIONAL:
PoliceBatonStun: Adds the stun effect to the police baton as well (you have to reduce the targets HP to <=25% to knock it out).

Installation

Copy everything into your Data Folder.

Change bInvalidateOlderFiles in the FALLOUT.ini (My Games\Fallout 3) from 0 to 1.

Known bugs:

May kill enemies with very little total health instead of paralyzing them (mostly Feral Ghouls).
This is because they have so little HP that it jumps from, say, 12% HP to 0% HP.
This is unfortunate but can't really be avoided.
