UPDATING/WIPz

v2: Maria Cruz now hangs out at regulator ranch. She protects her wimpy sister Sonora Cruz from the rad scorpions. Her rifle now has a knock down effect and cripple effect, since she always aims for the legs. For melee, she uses a sword. Again she always aims for the legs, thus it has a knockdown and bleeding effect.

I also modified some of the dialog to my taste, and to give her a little more attitude.

I changed her hair, so that glasses look right on her now.

Next project is mod'ing combat a little and tweaking dialog more.

V1.5: I'm working on changing her start location and wandering. I want her to be Sonora Cruz's sister, so she hangs out near the regulator's shack. And protects those wimpy regulators from the scorpions, that Sonora Cruz runs and hides from all the time.

Also I'm messing around with the sniper rifle. I figure if you can't kill a DOG with one shot from a sniper rifle something is seriously wrong. So now she can kill a dog in one shot on hard. I just hope at lower level she doesn't kill steal too much.

Working on killing a bug right now, that if you fast travel to Arefu, Mika gets a double. Double the fun, but not what I'm looking for. ******FIXED******

Changing name of the Mod to More Latina looking Mod.

1. DESCRIPTION

I just plain hated the hair on her though. So I changed the hair to one of the ones
in a hair pack here on the Nexus. Which one? I don't remember. All the credit to them. I think it makes her look
more latina.

I also changed it so she had a special sniper rifle. The model and texture is from

I made the following changes to the rifle. First it's got unlimited ammo like the other
followers. Second, Maria has a bit of sick sense of humor and likes to shoot people
in the knees. On most hits, she will cripple enemies in one shot. In order, to balance this
out she needs to focus to aim carefully. She takes one shot about every 4 seconds.

Second change to rifle. It doesn't crit too often but when she does. WATCH OUT. It will almost
take down a Death Claw at full health on Hard difficultly. Because of power of this shot, even if
something does survive it will be knocked down on it's butt.

Maria also has joined up with her sister Sonora Cruz, and has taken up to wearing a regulator duster. The DR is slightly improved; and I will probably be adjusting it.

This is a work in progress. I will probably be changing things. I've play tested it for a few hours only. Also I hoped I packed up everything fine. If not let me know. Also you probably will need
to have ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated installed.

3. INSTALLING THE PLUG-IN

Simply extract all of the .zip's contents to your Fallout 3/Data folder.

4. PLAYING THE PLUG-IN

In the Fallout 3 Launcher, check off this plugin.

5. SAVE GAMES

You do not need to start a new game to see the changes.
The mod will not invalidate your save game.

If you were using, the orginal Mika mod, you need to Fire Mika, save the game,
uncheck plugin in the launcher, load save game, save game again, then
finally start game with this mod loaded. Mika should be back in Megaton.

6. CONFLICTS/KNOWN ERRORS

This is many ways a crude hack, while I'm learning to use the GECK.
Mika uses a modified verision of Cloves shotgun. Thus with this mod on
Charon will use a beefed up sniper rifle.

***FIXED****Because of way, I changed Mika's hair some NPC's MAY have interesting
hair. See Leo Stahl's sisters hair. She's the one selling food in front of the
Brass Lantern. I guess since Leo's a druggie, sister is getting into the dope
too. And went a little crazy with her dye job.
