Something I found out a while ago is that the travel times for The Pitt and Point Lookout were weird. Travel to and from Point Lookout took a whole month of in-game time, and travel to and from The Pitt was instantaneous!
Obviously I thought this was silly, so I copied and slightly modified the much better travel time script from Honest Hearts and implemented it for these two DLCs. With this mod, it now takes 2 in-game days to ride the handcar to/from The Pitt and 3 in-game days to sail to/from Point Lookout.
Nice and simple, yeah? Hope this can help add some more immersion to your playthroughs!
