The problem is that they don't play together because the Comic Collector places a trap-door in Megaton's house, but the house of Megaton's Return is actually built in a whole different cell.
So, this is just a patch that moves the trap-door of the Comic Collector in the house of Megaton's Return (in the armory).
It worked for me for a whole 5-months playthrough, so I guess there should be no problems.
I don't think I'll be able to provide assistance, since at the moment I uninstalled FO3 and I'm playing something else,
but the whole point is that if you see the trap-door, then the mod works. Otherwise don't.

Disclaimer:
------------------
Gary62 gave open permission to patch his mod, I tried to reach out to comicboy00 some months ago for his permission but haven't got a reply. As such, if comicboy00 will request it at any point, this patch can be nuked.

Installation:
------------------
- Save your game before installing this as a fallback position in case something doesn't agree with your particular mod list.
- Unzip the download archived and drop the .esp in your Fallout3/Data folder or use FOMM (that will do the same for you in 2 clicks).
- As long as the mods are in this order somewhere in your plugin list, it should work:
Megaton Return.esp
TheComicCollection.esp
Comic_MegatonReturn.esp
Uninstall:
------------------
- Delete the file Comic_MegatonReturn.esp from your Fallout3/Data folder manually or through FOMM.
- Deleted the entry "Comic_MegatonReturn.esp" from your plugin list.
- Return to the fallback save you made during installation (or probably any other save while far away from Megaton, but I guess that can make your game unstable).
