This simple mod removes the character of Mister Lopez and his "quest" from the game.

Mister Lopez is an NPC who can be found in Rivet City. His short "quest," if you can call it that, heavily involves themes of suicide. You can talk him out of it, you can talk him into it, or you can even "give him a hand."
For those of us who deal or have dealt with suicidal thoughts, this can be a little upsetting/triggering. This simple mod removes Lopez, so that unaware players don't bump into him and trigger his "quest" accidentally.
As far as I am aware Lopez plays no meaningful role in the game and has very little interactions with other NPCs, as his only real purpose is to die in this sick "quest." Fortunately that means that removing him from the game should cause no issues whatsoever and is completely safe to do.
