Improved Combat:

A collection of game setting changes that I made to make the gameplay in Fallout 3 far more enjoyable while keeping its inherent lethalness.
• Difficulties are now more aggressive, on normal both players, allies, and enemies deal 50% more damage (effects creatures).
• Effectively removed Fallout 3's auto aim (auto aim caused more issues than solved for me).
• Ranged weapon skill at 100 will no longer completely remove the spread penalties for standing and hip firing.
• Walking and running will now increase weapon spread by 40% and 80% respectively.
• Unarmed skill increases bonus unarmed damage more.
• Weapon skill now has less effect on damage dealt, while condition has a greater effect.
• Armors will now degrade to half their DR value instead of one-fifth.
• All weapons and armors break roughly 40% slower.
• Player and NPC DR cap reduced to 80 (DR effectiveness is exponential, so reducing the cap by 5 points reduces effective health from 6.66x to 5x).
• Poison and Radiation resistance cap increased to 90.
• Increased AP-per-Agility to 5, and increased AP regen rate by 25%.


Alternative V.A.T.S.:

Modifies V.A.T.S. to function as an alternative to twitch shooting, akin to rounds from tabletops.
• AP base amount reduced to 50, and amount-per-Agility increased to 5.
• AP regenerates in roughly 6 seconds (standard round timer in tabletops).
• Damage negation reduced to 25% in V.A.T.S. from vanilla 90%.
• No 2x accuracy bonus in V.A.T.S.
• No +15 crit chance bonus in V.A.T.S.
• No 5x weapon degradation in V.A.T.S.


Better CondToValue:

• Increases the rate at which items reduce in value as they degrade.
• Item will always sell for at least 10% value even if broken (vendors can still salvage it for scrap).


Reputation:

Changes karma to reputation to make it seem more like its the people of the Wasteland judging you, not some deity or the universe itself.
• Renames 'Karma' to 'Reputation'.
• 'Very Good' becomes 'Idolized'.
• 'Good' becomes 'Accepted'.
• 'Evil' becomes 'Shunned'.
• 'Very Evil' becomes 'Vilified'.


Less Terrible Broken Steel Enemies:

Enemies added by Broken Steel are now more consistent with the vanilla game and scaling.
• Removes unblockable damage from Tri-beam Laser Rifle (buffs crit damage to be consistent with base damage).
• Feral Ghoul Reavers now have 510 health and deal 50 unarmed damage.
• Super Mutant Overlords now have 475 health and deal 7 unarmed damage.
• Albino Radscorpions now have 660 health, but deal a whopping 145 stinger damage (the scaling on scorpions is wacky).
