    I put this in the bug's tab but i don't know if you look at it but; Removing Uncle Leo's hunting rifle from his inventory crashes the game.

      Hm that's weird I actually removed his hunting rifle so he shouldn't have one in the first place. It's just a regular hunting rifle too so there's nothing special about it. Is it just that hunting rifle, no other items cause the crash?

    This is a really great mod and should be in the game itself, I always wondered why he can't be hired I thought it had something to do with my Karma.

    i check in fo3 xedit and uncle leo not essential , do he die in battle ?

      Uncle Leo is essential when hired, when fired he is not. So when you dismiss him, make sure his health isn't low.

    Thank you for Uncle Leo. He's been added to New Vegas; but not as a companion. One question though. I tried posting it here a couple of days ago; but it never showed up in the feed. Can Uncle Leo be dismissed; and to where does he go? Kind of a two part question. Thanks again.

      Hey thanks. Uncle Leo can be dismissed to either player house, the museum of history or a patrol between last encounter point and megaton entrance. Im not sure what happens if his random encounter is triggered while he is your companion hopefully nothing bad lol. This mod will be ported to TTW eventually.

      Oh man. I finally picked up Uncle Leo in front of Megaton. He didn't show up. I had to use the console to make that happen. I hired him and all seemed fine. So we headed off. Made about 20 steps before the CTD. I tried loading up again; but the same thing happened. Had to take Leo off to keep my game from crashing. Damn.

      What can I say, I never experienced any ctds with this mod and wouldn't have released it otherwise. If theres any further info on your setup I might be able to help.

      I don't think thats possible with using voice assets from Fallout 3 in New Vegas from what I've read. I do intend to make a new companion mod for New Vegas though.

      No it doesn't, there's no easy way to make that happen without tampering with scripts I'd rather not touch. If you use console command FFER66UncleLeoref.moveto player that should warp him to your position.

      I could set up a scripted encounter with him somewhere, Megaton might be too early in the game though. I'm open to suggestions.

      There's a couple places I could choose from like outside Tenpenny Tower, Rivet City, Canterbury Commons.

      I've got an idea now, he can appear at the Megaton entrance after you have completed Moira's Wasteland Survival Guide quests. I might go with that.

      Won't seem right if before doing Vault 87 - you're supposed to be totally shocked to meet an articulate friendly mutie like Fawkes.

      It's fine, you can still encounter Uncle Leo before meeting Fawkes anyway. I'll also add a condition for him to appear if Megaton is destroyed.

      Did you go with the post-moira megaton option?  Just wondering because otherwise I guess I'll spend all weekend roaming around looking for Leo, lol.   PS you rule for modding this game still.  Especially this mod.  Leo is my favorite character in the game

      Thanks for the kind words. It'll be either of the two options so Uncle Leo will appear at the Megaton entrance if you've either completed/failed the wasteland survival guide quest or destroyed Megaton. I should have the update out tomorrow, just doing some fine tuning on it.
