=======================================================
As a reward for saving the town of Megaton by disarming the bomb, you will find a gift on your bed at your new house. It is the 'Thermo Nuclear Warhead Launcher' plus 100 warheads to unleash devastation upon Washington as you see fit. As well as providing a 'Big Bang', the detonation will be followed by a short 'nuclear winter'.
As requested, a short video is available on YouTube (HD available):

TIPS
1. Aim DIRECTLY north for launch (use your HUD compass). If you do not, the explosion will appear distorted and clipped. The reason for this is that I used a scaled version of the Megaton Nuke effect for the explosion and unfortunately it appears that the game renders it in 2d only and doesn't orientate itself to the player's POV when exploding - unless you are facing north. * See below
2. Aim High and far and if possible from a high vantage point overlooking your target. If you must fire from level terrain, back off quickly the moment you launch as the massive amount of radiation unleashed will kill you instantly (if the nuclear detonation itself doesn't).
3. The Radiation level remains for 5 minutes from the moment of detonation, so don't be fooled into thinking the area is safe the moment the skies clear.
4. Do not use indoors (obviously)!!
INSTALLATION
1. Copy the 'sound' folder and the 'Warhead' plugin file to the game's 'Data' folder.
2. Ensure that 'bInvalidateOlderFiles' is set to '1' in your Fallout.ini (this is for the new sound to be used).
3. Activate the plugin through the game's launcher or the wonderful 'Fallout 3 Mod Manager'.
UNINSTALLATION
1. Simply delete the files you placed in the 'Data' folder above.
* For those who are familiar with the GECK, I have tried several ways to edit the explosion to orientate itself properly to the player's viewpoint, but nothing seems to work. When 'Always Uses World Orientation' is checked, the effect does appear to shift towards your POV wherever you aim, but the explosion doesn't render on a horizontal level and is often almost completely on its side.
If any genius out there knows how to remedy this, please post on the mod's comments tab above.
