Hi, about a month and a half ago my hard drive suddenly flipped the bird and decided to die. The worst of it all is that I couldn't get my data back. I have lost nearly 100 hours of work including multiple unreleased projects, my personal mods, and a new update that comes with new outfits for this mod. This made me so frustrated I decided to take some time off before my passion for modding completely go away. This is why I went silent for the last 50 days or so. I see some of you experiencing problems with the mod during that time. I apologize for that. This is my mod, my product, my responsibility after all. I am still not ready for modding. But I am not done with this mod either. In the meantime, I'll sticky some helpful posts to help some of you folks. Please stay safe in both the wasteland and life itself.
Thanks for all the positive feedback. I'm glad you all enjoyed traveling the wasteland with this mod as much as I made it. As a token of appreciation, I added a new variant of the outfit. The outfit carries a piece from every DLC assuming you have been to all places. 8)
I got a small request? Would you be able to raise the stats a bit? 12 dr is the armored vault suit's stat and that's starter armor. I love the look but was hoping for something like 20-29 dr kinda like the ranger combat armor so you can also wear it late game.
I like the look of armored vaults suits is why; just a small request if possible.
If it helps, I just did this earlier today because I was thinking the same thing. I tweaked the stats of a couple of the suits to reflect other armor you'd get while progressing through the game without making things too easy. (Basically, I just changed their values to match leather and combat armor and made it possible to repair them with something other than vault suits.) This is easy to do in FO3Edit; just load this plugin, expand the Armor section and select the outfit you want to change in the left pane, then scroll down to the bottom of the right pane. You'll see the values for value, max condition, weight and DR all the way at the bottom. Just right click, select Edit and then change the values to whatever you want. Just make sure to keep a copy of the original download backed up somewhere in case you need to revert your changes.
Hmm... Ok, so I bought all the outfits from Moira, put all of them on, checked the list in the description that has the codes next to them. So all that is *listed* there is available, the outfits with the shorts/Tshirts twith and without the vest that we see in the pictures are not in the mod or even on the list in the description. I think maybe you forgot to add them? I really like em.
I love the look of these armors, however i am encountering a strange bug. For some reason mora does not sell the armors. Additionally i am only able to equip the headgear and not the armor its self, does anyone know what might be causing this?
I only did a little bit of testing but I believe the issue is the pipboy glove. Try using the console to remove it and then try to equip the armor. player.removeitem 00025b83 1
Edit: Uninstalling, loading your game and saving, then reinstall the mod and the armor should be in Moira's inventory. This has so far been the only way for the armor to appear in her inventory for me.
I have a question: I wanted to do my own retexture of the armor (not to release it but for my own playthrough). I edited the .dds texture files of the ones being used in the armor I wear. I had to check the file path from nifskope but yeah. I made sure to keep that file path and saved those textures accordingly, but when I load into the game, the texture doesn't seem to apply to the armor? In my experience that usually works. And with Vortex who knows (and the whole goty patch from steam...)
Anyway, this isn't an issue with your mod. Just a question in case you knew the answer.
Thank you very much. Although I'm not sure, This looks like what I experienced when I ported the armors to FNV for TTW version. If you've created a new form ID for the armor you worked on, check the ID in FO3edit, and see if the ID uses an alternate texture set for a specific nifblock. Hope this helps. If you manage to get it to work, send me a screenshot of your work I'm curious. 8)
Just wanted to let you know this is a great mod. Only issue I had was not an issue with the mod but Moria changing her inventory a few levels in so I couldnt buy all the sets. Shame on me for not doing it the first time around lol.
Sorry for the late answer. I also work on the TTW version with new additions and also functional tools that goes well with that. I created a completely new script from scratch to fix that vendor issue. I will release a new version with the new outfits and fixes.
Hi, this is a fabulous mod. I'm really enjoying the custom look, thank you! I did want to bring to your attention one issue with the "I'm more than ready (full)" outfit. When reloading weapons, I am missing the "arms" of my body. The hands and pipboy are visible, but that's it. The other outfits are great, no problems. Also, if you do get back into moding, I would appreciate you considering renaming the outfits to something more lore-friendly. Again, thank you for an outstanding mod!

Using the Mojave armor will cause freezes and crashes when hit, do not use.

Same. I really like the one with shorts and I can't get it. =(
