This mod slows down passing of time to a more realistic scale. Time scale is set to 6 and sleeping in your bed will match accordingly.

Version 1.0.0
Initial release
If you enjoy roleplaying aspects of an RPG, you might have a problem with default time settings in Fallout 3. Default time scale is set to 30, which means that for every hour you play - 30 hours pass in the game itself. Essentially you only get 24 minutes per game day. Forget walking, forget taking your time to enjoy the scenery, forget needing to sleep, forget immersion, forget anything other than sprinting from place to place like a madman if you want to stay in sync with the game world. This mod slows it down 5-fold, leaving timescale at 6.
Changes:
- Time is slowed down to the point where you get 2 hours of game time per day. (16 hours of being active + 8 hours of sleeping); - Well Rested perk from sleeping in your bed still matches the new timescale.
Troubleshooting:
- if you already forced a timescale change via console, this mod will not be able to override your edit out of the box. (as that value is now stored in your savegame file); for this reason, it may require a new save;
To fix either of the two issues above, run set timescale to 6 in the console. Well Rested sleep bonus should be working correctly.
Updates:
- added 3 variations of the mod under Optional files. Please only use the main file or one of the optional ones.
