Action Horror Quest
Loosely inspired by H.P. Lovecraft's "Whisperer in Darkness"
and Alien Cosmic Horror such as Mars Attacks!
Action horror shooter game-play inspired by dark corridor shooters like Doom 3 or the Metro 2033 series.

Rivet City Nightmares: Whisperer in the Darkness
You've just rented a room at the Wetherly Hotel in Rivet City. You find an old pre-war book by author H.P. Lovecraft.
As you drift away, you find yourself embroiled in a sinister extra-terrestrial conspiracy,
where a lone mechanic is caught up defending his home from mysterious unseen enemies.
Discover the horrific intentions of shadowy figures from the furthest edge of the solar system.
Traveling deeper, you fall into a dark, desperate nightmare from which you cannot escape without enduring
through relentless, unforgiving horrors!
With a story inspired by Lovecraft's "Whisperer in Darkness" and the classic 1950's baseball cards: "Mars Attacks!"
and Action Horror game-play inspired by Doom 3 BFG and Metro 2033.
+/- 1 or 2 hours of relentless cosmic action.
Navigate through barely lit corridors, where every stimpack or energy cell must be used conservatively.
Conserve ammo by using stealth,
or collect enough parts to craft NEW UPGRADES/ Textures / Rebalanced weapons such as:
The Railway Rifle RESKINNED and upgraded to become the HOT RIVET RIFLE
and then reskin and upgrade your shishkebab TO THE TEMPERED SHISHKEBAB

How do I start?
1) Go to Rivet City
2) Rent a room at the Wetherly Hotel
3) Read the book "Whisperer in Darkness"
Unforgiving Difficulty!
The game is balanced to be a good, brutal challenge around level 10.
Up to level 20 becomes easy, and above that would be overpowered.
Less than level 10 is not recommended.

Bugs:
Something happened to cause a glitch with the vanilla DLC Mothership Zeta.
I am working on a patch, but for now if you want to play Mothership Zeta you will need to deactivate the mod. Sorry!
