I liked the sounds in this mod but also found them way too loud. I reduced the volume of all sounds by 7db, except for all the energy weapons (I'm using a different mod for those). In case anyone else might find this useful, here's a link to the Dropbox.
Please help i want to uninstall this mod i disabled it on vortex but this tinitus causing sounds still there. Dont want to destroy my game by deleting wrong files
This is a HUGE improvement over the default guns-- many of which sound like someone banging on a trash can. However, it is WAY too loud. The audio files peak at maximum volume. I normalized the WAV files to -5dB with Audacity and it's a little more tolerable that way.
Can someone plzz tell me where do i put all these files. In the description it said place the sound folder into your "\fallout 3\data\" folder but where?
It goes in to the sound folder, open your FO3 folder\Data and look for sound, then put this mod in it and yes to over write, but make sure you back the FO3 sound folder in case you want to revert back from this one, look at the file structure of your FO3 Sound folder and look at this mods they are the same folders just the sounds will be different. Oh and louder.
I try my best and learning at the same time. The community gave me help when I needed a few even helped me in PM to work things out. SO I want to give back as best I can.
If you download it with Vortex (Mod Manager), then it does all of that on its own. I don't do any of that crud, & my mods work just fine, so long as I have it in the proper load order manually or through LOOT. The only time i've had to screw around with all of that was when I installed FOSE (Script Extender), & that was REALLY easy with FO3 compared to Skyrim SE or FO4 or something. So, I don't know why people are telling you all of this extra crap. Just download with Vortex or NMM & it will do all of that on it's own. One simple click of a button. Eazy cheezy steezy lemon weezy breezy.
