Are you sick of NPCs that eat entire clips without so much as flinching? Do you revile Bethesda's decision to make 'challenging' enemies ones that you have to click on more than the rest? Then this mod is for you! Mods in the past that have attempted to reduce the... well, sponginess of bullet-sponges typically increase the global damage multiplier - but a side effect of this is that you as the player also take more damage, and weaker NPCs become total pushovers. This project, however, seeks to reduce the bullet-consuming effects of only specific NPCs, so that the only difference you'll notice in combat is that you won't be stuck clicking at a stubborn NPC.
This mod comes with multiple ESPs that affect individual types of NPCs. Simply download the ESP(s) you want and enjoy the extra ammo you'll save.
Current version: - Mothership Zeta aliens that use the Inertia Suppression Field are now only slightly more resistant than regular aliens. No more five-foot-tall aliens that can take more hits than super-mutant brutes! (v1.1 should now be ITM-free and shield resistance is now still proportional to the aliens' level). - Broken Steel super-mutant overlords, despite only being slightly larger than super-mutant masters, have more than three times their health! With this mod, they still take quite a bit of punishment before biting the dust, but aren't nearly as spongy as before.
More NPCs will be added as the project continues. If there's a specifc type of enemy you'd like to see nerfed, suggest them in the comments!
