When I created my mod "monorail project" https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/23112, many people asked me to create a way to travel in monorails. Although I did not know how to achieve it then. With a little imagination, I could finally do it.

I will continue updating this mod and adding more features. If you like this mod follow the track and read the logs of the new versions. And for those users who have been following this mod since I published it, share your comments and opinions on all the new developments. It will help me improve this mod.

Thank you all for your comments. Travel fast, safe and comfortable in the BOS monorrieles

Is there a chance the track could bend?

CMR would like to assure you their very own studies demonstrate that 572 fatalities per year compares favorably with the early years of other previous new forms of transport - and should be reduced still further once all structural supports are fully in place.

I just want to thank you for this great looking mod!  I don't know how I never saw it before it was translated to English!!!  Even though I use fast-travel, I am going to give this a shot after converting this (actually the Eng. version, or more accurately with the English language version) for "TTW".
Keep up the creatively fantastic work!  KUDOS and endorsed (see if we can't move this up further in the 'most endorsed' list for ya' - deserves much more attention!)

Love this mod, have been using it since it first appeared on the Nexus. Can't fault it. Has always worked perfectly. So I didn't feel any pressing need to update, but given the changes you notified us about, I thought why not?

Good to see you finished off some things which were lacking, such as proper voice dialogue and various aspects of the interiors. Which leads me to my only causes for complaint, and these are aesthetic rather than functional, and not really complaints. I did not like your new carriage interior design at all, the lengthways seating looks horrible to me when compared to the more traditional two-abreast lateral arrangement. However, once I thought about it, I realised this was much more practical from a game functionality perspective, it's a lot easier to move around now, and also makes sense within the logic of the mod's concept; these being, essentially, troop and cargo carriers, so longitudinal seating and wider aisles would be more suitable for such purposes (like on military cargo 'planes.)

That leads me to my next point. Why did you choose a faux neo-classical marble tile for the carriage flooring? I accept that it could be argued that it's hard-wearing vinyl or linoleum rather than actual marble, but some sort of steel or aluminium durbar or mesh flooring would seem more appropriate to me, or even the plain steel such as you had in earlier version.

Not nitpicking; just giving some creative feedback. Given the fairly short time I'm in the monorail carriage, these aren't really issues. I'm just interested in your rationale for these particular changes given that you usually have a good reason for doing things one way rather than another.

Hello, friend. Thanks for your comments.
This mod has grown a lot since its first version. I think the current version is the final version. The first interior didnt feel too old and was very empty. The floor was too clean an the seatings arrangment felt like a diner. So I had the idea of make the interior more comfortable and neoclassical arranging the seatings in two lengthways. The new floor gave it an older an more grimy appearance. I think now it feels more roomy and suitable with the game. This, counting the new improvements added like the signs and ilumination inside the carriage and at stations made the mod a bit better. I am sorry this new changes didnt like you, but I think the mod feels more complete now. I am very happy with all these new changes and improvements.

I've just tried v2.06 and it works perfectly :-) No issues whatsoever. Finally, getting to GNR is quick and easy. The new details (ride to GNR, bumpers, engine car, signs, voiced BoS guards etc. etc.) are awesome.

      Thank you, Kresox.

This mod has grown a lot since version 1.00. I have put a lot of work and imagination on it.

      Glad you enjoy it. xD

Any chance you could create a mono-rail net around dc? Like, going to more places.

      Hello, pavelciusmxms

I think is more immersive to limit the monorails to the areas of interest for the BOS or areas controlled by them. The rest of the world spaces in DC are very hostile to be rebuilded or populated, so far...

Love the monorail. Flawless work. I've been on a few monorails in my time, some quite old, some very modern, but I was always surprised by how noisy and juddery they are - even a MAGLEV which you'd think would be smooth and almost silent. You seem to have captured this quite well, it was actually a lot like being on a real monorail. I'm also pleased that you kept the interiors rusty and weathered, rather than making them shiny and clean, and limited the routes to sectors they control. This fits in appropriately with your concept of the BoS restoring technological civilisation step-by-step when and where they can.

      Hello, Erafox.

Sorry for dont reply you sooner. I've stated before I dont make TTW versions becasue I dont play FONV. Though this is something that any user can do with the appropiate tutorial. Here there is a serial of tutorials by Roy Batty to convert FO3 mods to TTW: https://youtu.be/EIF-PxlpF08

      Hope this helps
