Thank you for saving my day again, AmaccurzerO! They are coming to good use in my Terra Sana WIP "The 2d Earthly Mistake" - when time is due. A lot of fun left to invent :)
But this is just a remesh. If you wanted varying amounts of ad-hoc armour meshed bodies, that would be weird because they'll still have the same stats. If you wanted the armours/effects to work like on other enemies (say, for example, raiders), you'd have to make a much bigger, complicated mod, with a whole bunch of adapted swamp folk armours and system & stats for them - for NPCs who never had any armour in the vanilla game. That's probably a ton of work.
By contrast, what's good about this mod is, it's a simple plugin-less mesh, and by making them "look" armoured it helps explain why their vanillla stats are overly buffed for unarmoured folk. In short, it's a very neat visual hotfix.
Awesome mod! I think you should add mini bosses with their own lore. some with unique armor/clothes, and weapons too. just and idea. Keep making fallout 3 fun!
I might try this. I always hated the fact they're hard as f*** to kill, but don't have any significant armor.
Though I have other mods going that add major multipliers to damage, so maybe they won't be so hard to kill this time around.
The only problem I have is that the metal armors look too "high tech" for the swampfolk specifically. The super mutant armor on the brutes is a perfect match though. Other than that personal preference issue I would definitely like to endorse this right now just for the sheer happiness that someone made this and of course the fact it looks really well made.
But I'll definitely endorse it once I do download it.

Actually, I dont think they wear a complete metal armor, but pieces of metal armor they found and joined in a rustic way.
