I created this mod after looking through the mod requests. Isaw one asking to make a player home from Hamilton’s Hideaway. I figured that
even being new at the GECK I could do that. Like others, I wondered why it had
not been done before. This mod took about 4 days to create, one on the weekend
and 3 part days after work.
I tried to think like a wastelander. I imagined some harriedand stressed out woman with starving and screaming kids harassing her other
half to find them a stable home.
“Honey, maybe we should take a look at that Hamilton’s Hideaway?Anything is better than living under a rock out in the open.”
“I dunno love, I’ve heard the Raiders have taken it over andit is infested with rad-scorpions.”
“But if we band together with the other Wastelanders we can take them on.”
“With what, rocks and sticks?”
“If we have to. Besides, I heard this kid from Vault 101might help us.”
Weeks later....
“It’s the best decision I ever made to move us on down herehoney.”
“Oh, that was your decision then? Right oh.”
“Yep, it sure was. Now we have plenty of food, shelter, we’resafe, got the place cleaned up and have made it look all homely thanks to the
old furniture we’re dragging in. Oh and that old Three Dog was right about
there being an armoury down here. I guess even he didn’t know about the second
secret armoury we found.”
“I don’t know if I feel safe about that dear. That oldtunnel into the subway could let that vampire Family in here. I guess they were
right about the Family being in here.”
“Oh well at least that old rail tunnel was a good place to dump all the rubble from in here.”
