Thank you all for your positive and encouraging comments. This small mod is very special for me because in spite of being so small and to not requiring a plugin, adds a lot of life to capital wasteland.
Works perfectly. However, I think the further you get from DC the deader the Wasteland should be. Perfect for me would be some kind of small power plant still working in DC that allows a few things to work there - such as traffic lights, the monorail system - but not elsewhere. But that's just me.
This is a great idea! - I admit I thought the mod didn't work when the first set I found weren't doing anything, but then after a bit more exploring I found a working set in another location. - It seems that not every set works which adds to the post apocalyptic atmosphere of the game world.
I'm guessing this mod isn't intended to make every set of traffic lights in the game work or that would be unrealistic.
I don't know what US traffic lights are light, but have you considered adding either a sound for when a light is green for the walk signal?
By the way, this mod looks really cool with the Street Lights mod too.
Sound is for the benefit of people with impaired eyesight. I might be wrong, but I have a feeling the USA of Fallout cared very little about accessibility.
-Buenas, he usado este mod en una partida , estoy grabando un "Remake" de FALLOUT 3 con 140 MODS (En su mayoria texturas, baja carga de plugins, solo 35)echadle un vistazo si quereis, y espero que esteis ahi hasta el final de la historia jejeje un saludo a la comunidad .-Hi,i used his mod on recording a "Remake" of FALLOUT 3 with 140 MODS (mostly textures, low plugin load, only 35) take a look if you want, and I hope you are there until the end of the story hehehe greetings to the community . ------------- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gmpgugmwdxg&t=92s ---------------
Such a good idea. I was only thinking the other day after installing Streetlights that if there's enough mains juice to power some of the lights, then the traffic signals and 'phone booths would probably work too, intermittently. It really adds to the immersion.
I will port some of my mods from FO3, including this one, to FONV, eventually. Though there are no many traffic lights in the Mojave, except for a few in the Freeside.
I thought the walk lights are meant to flash shortly before they change to don't walk...at least that's how it goes here in Australia. Red man flashes the kids before staying lit lel
In America they have a countdown of about 30 seconds, give or take the length of the crosswalk. Pretty much a grace period for "get out of the road, but don't start crossing if you just got here."
There is an animation test for FONV that you should see. I would like to see something similar and think you could do it AmaccurzerO. It has NO ESP but between this and another TV set retexture mod by combining the two I have TV sets all around the wasteland in FONV playing this TEST commercial.
I would like to see you do something similar. Take a peek!
Hello, KainThePheonix. This guy's TV sets mod is outstanding. An incredible show of patience and imagination. If you see how he did it, you will end awesomed. He animated the .DDS frame by frame. Incredible. I think these TVsets will work in FO3 if you copy them in the right folder replacing the vanilla radiation king TV sets.

I've still endorsed this great mod.

Have you considered an alternate version that flickers and changes "randomly" as if glitching?
This mod does not need a TTW version to work with TTW because does no require a plugin to work.
