[What This Is]

A comprehensive improvement patch to gunnars2's Chinese Machine Pistol, with the aim to implement it into leveled lists and the intent to keep it lore-friendly. It's definitely a Skorpion now.


[What This Does]

+Adjusts the ammo type to be more lore-friendly, so instead of using a 5mm round (which I've seen more used on Miniguns than pistols, to be frank...), you'll be loading it up with .32 Caliber ammo.
+Adjusts clip size to match up with the VZ61 Skorpion, which had at minimum 10 rounds per clip.
+Adds the .32 Machine Pistol to several leveled lists, including Vendors, Raiders, and a few common Wastelanders. Chances are you'll see it along with lower level pistols while in the fray.
+Includes more options for repairing a damaged .32 Machine Pistol, meaning you can patch it up with a common Chinese Pistol as much as you can other .32 MP's.
+Fixes the weapon's inventory / Pip-Boy image pointers / locations, so you're able to at least see something resembling what you're using instead of an error image.
+Fixes the model to map the right textures to the right parts, which was done using NifSkope and referencing the original file locations for the textures used. Now you don't have to worry about the clip glitching!
+Redid the textures so it's a lot less specific and more general purpose. No moon runes.
+1st Person model has higher resolution textures now.
+Leaves the original location of the .32 Machine Pistol that can be found in the Big Town Red Clinic's "Light Box" intact, so if you're really looking for one, it's still there.

+Fixed the "Light Box" to hold the proper ammo type and an appropriately-sized cache of rounds, 300 10mm rounds in total. That's about 10 sets worth of ammo!

+Made it so less CMP's are distributed as loot and/or used by NPC's and such. Turns out I originally set it to 0% chance of None. OOPS! Updated it to be 50% chance of having just the gun, and 25% chance of the gun having ammo with it. Please let me know if this could use more balancing!
+Reduced the amount of ammo contained in the "LightBox" found in Big Red's Clinic. Instead of 300 10mm rounds, you'll get 90 10mm rounds from it.
+Planning and development of a version for New Vegas has begun, though it will be intended for TTW at first.

+Updated clip size, lowered it to 20 rounds per clip. This lines up somewhat with the M1917 variant, which while that was a prototype in reality, it'll have to do for this mishmash of a gun.
+Updated the ammo in the container found in Big Red's Clinic once more, it now contains 80 10mm rounds and has been renamed to indicate it's contents. It'll also occasionally respawn it's inventory, which can be nice.
+Edited the AddItem scripting to go less ham with the weapon distribution. I'm hoping I got it right this time. Please let me know if you find too many, or too few!
+Speaking of prototypes, I've got a work in progress mod put together for the FONV-based TTW, will link to it here at some point. Hopefully it works as intended, right down to the weapon mods and leveled list additions!

+Synced the changes with the FONV-TTW version of the mod. This is mostly just a backporting job here now.

+Updated the stats and handling of the weapon to match the base model found in the NV-TTW version.
+Updated the ammo type found in the "Light Box" and made it have a decent amount of ammo to test with (160 rounds).
+Added more repair options: .32 Cal Pistol and 10mm SMG.

[Model / Mod Credits]

The original model was custom made by gunnars2, and I would like to thank him for making it available on the Nexus. Without that as a base, this wouldn't be possible.
However, it should also be noted the model was compiled of what seems to be original Bethesda-made assets, given the use of default textures in the model file. Thanks goes to Bethesda for those.
There was also some scripting involved, which I learned how to do from various mods that incorporate items into leveled lists. Thank you to any mod that does that.


[Disclaimer]

I tried every which way to contact the original author for permissions, but it seems they have been banned from the face of the earth and into oblivion.
That said, I would have gladly asked if I could, but I'm unable to locate him. I'm hoping and praying that he or anyone else won't mind this, so long as proper credit is given wherever it is due.
Even though I was unable to formally obtain permissions for some things, I still made sure to give credit in both the .esp plugin's "Author" field and in the ReadMe text file included with the files.
