About this mod

Tweaks And Additions is a massive compilation of tweaks to game mechanics, items, perks and stats. It also fixes a few bugs and adds some stuff, too.

v0.99
TWEAKS AND ADDITIONS for

- Game Of The Year Edition -

Tweaks and Additions is a simple but massive compilation of tweaks and -- you guessed it -- additions, with the intention of making the core vanilla game experience more engaging, challenging, action-oriented and most importantly; fun. If you find the vanilla game too easy, clunky and/or spongy and you want a change of pace, you've come to the right place.

T.A.A. is designed to be played with Fallout 3 Weapons Rebalanced. F3WR makes major changes to stats and behaviour (and in a few cases; appearance, animations and sounds) for every single playable weapon in the game, to compliment gameplay alongside T.A.A. F3WR is completely optional, and can even be played without T.A.A. Both mods were developed and tested while playing through entire game start-to-finish, to ensure playability, stability, and 'balance'.

For precise details and documentation regarding all changes, please check T.A.A.'s Master List.
It's not required, but I recommend starting a new game before use.

Given its scope, T.A.A. for Fallout 3 will probably conflict with most other .esp-based mods out there to some extent, so you'll probably have to generate a merged patch bashed patch to improve compatibility. However, it isn't absolutely necessary for you to do so. To minimize conflicts so that at least everything here works properly from the get-go, sort your load order to appear as such:

Main .ESMs
-- other mods you use --
TAA - Tweaks and Additions for Fallout 3.esp
-- weather mods you use --
Overgrown.esp / CW Overgrown.esp
F3WR.esp

Installation:
>>Drag and drop into your ...\Fallout 3\Data\ directory, and enable it using any mod manager of your choice.

Uninstallation:
>>Drag the .esp out of your ...\Fallout 3\Data\ directory, and drop into the trash.

Recommended FALLOUT.ini Tweaks

fDefault1stPersonFOV=
This line basically determines how much of your weapon is visible in first person. I like mine at 75.

fDefaultFOV=
This setting differs from the former in that it changes the FOV of the player camera, and not just the first person view models.
If fDefault1stPersonFOV is 75, a fDefaultFOV value of 90 is appropriate.

fNearDistance=
This line determines how close a model can be before it clips with the player camera. If you're using a fDefault1stPersonFOV of 75, you'll have to set it to 3.
Any lower and the whole game gets buggy. Any higher, and weapons will begin to clip with the player camera.

fMainMenuMusicVolume=
This line sets the volume for the main menu title screen music. Lower values are quieter.

fSunBaseSize=
Both Bethesda and Obsidian set this to ridiculous proportions, resulting in over-bright skies and glare texture clipping, the latter of which can be noticed by horizontally panning the screen and focusing your attention to the sky whenever the sun is up. Reducing to a value of 450 or lower alleviates both.
Anything lower than 350 results in a tiny sun, though.

And the obligatory..

To disable mouse acceleration, paste these lines under the [CONTROLS] header, if they're not already present.

bBackground Mouse=0
bBackground Keyboard=1
fForegroundMouseAccelBase=0
fForegroundMouseAccelTop=0
fForegroundMouseBase=0
fForegroundMouseMult=0
