I compliment your intention, but you're offering a subpar version of something I did 3 years ago (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/19608/?), because you only removed the ''Don't use 1st Person IS'' flag in the Art and Sound section of the weapon, yet you didn't center the weapon in Nifskope, so it's going to be inaccurate while firing.
Nah @VWgolfR1 your mod is actually the 'subpar' version as this mod actually correctly displays the iron sights while aiming in with the AK47 unlike yours which only displays the iron sights while firing with it lol
You have barely any idea what you're talking about. I explained in detail in my description what needs to be done to avoid that particular issue, which wasn't my fault in the first place because I only corrected (and uploaded) the meshes, while the actual fault lies within Millenia's plugins. True that I could've taken the extra step and uploaded the plugins too, but I don't regret the fact that I gave relevant basic GECK/FNVEdit info instead because anyone who wants to install dozens of mods for FO3/NV should download and learn the basics of at least FNVEdit to do surface level troubleshooting. Not to mention I aligned and centered the sights perfectly, unlike here where the uploader didn't even bother working with the mesh in Nifskope.

You do realize that somebody has already done this, right? The mod I'm speaking of replaces both the American rifle (G3SG1) and the Chinese rifle (AK-47) AND adds full ironsights AND WMK compatibility. There's also a patch for FWE. Here's the link: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/20982/?
Because they can be hard to do in Fallout 3 for inexperienced modders, and often with weak results, because a key component that makes the process much easier is missing from this game, unlike in New Vegas.
the obvious reason is simple, Bethesda game studio never work on FPS genre games ever since their latest hit cult Elder scrolls games. that's why there also a reason why people make meme of fallout 3 being " Oblivion with guns " because how gamebryo engine glitchy is..

You should consider making your fix NMM compatible. The reason I posted this fix was more for convenience then anything.
