Have you ever considered making a merged mod with all the stuff you made?

Is that a question for me or for Pitabox? ;)

I personally don't contemplate that option since all my mods are so different and only if I would get all the mods, that idea could be plausible. Not likely to happen though.

Probably not making a "merged" version of everything; I like being able to turn on and off certain mods for different playthroughs, and not all my mods are suitable to either a 'good' or 'evil' character so they would conflict with each other.

I converted this mod to TTW. I'm going to run it a few times to make sure it works properly but I'll DM the authors once I'm sure I did it correctly.

Nice idea, pity it's related to the very start of the game and unfortunately I've somehow missed noticing the mod.

You can install it whenever you want though, as long as you haven't killed Burke yet, it will work just fine.

      Cheers

Nice. I was also thinking of doing this myself but maybe you could condition Mr. Burke to only approach the player with his offer if player's karma is evil

thats an interesting idea vegaswanderer, I think it would work if the player met Burke further into the game, but since the player will most likely meet Burke at the beginning of the game, at level 1 with neutral karma (unless they make an effort to avoid him) it may be a little redundant – how many players will have an evil karma that early; also siding with burke is probably the best way of getting an evil karma rating early in the game. but i'll give it thought for sure, cheers.

If you have any other suggestions let me know.

Not completely sure but I think you can leave Vault 101 with bad karma so it's not far fetched. The thing is if Burke approaches a player who is obviously a goody two shoes, he is presented as a total moron for trusting them. His instinct should direct him to players that ooze "psychopath" XD

Ah yes there are a few choices during that 'escape quest' that effect karma, don't know by how much but they still have an effect.

ok I'll look into it, if you would like to help let me know, though I'm not entirely sure how to set an npc to approach the player only if they have bad karma. - I've always looked at his interaction as being one of just needing anyone to help in his plan (though for such a simple task I've also thought why couldn't he do it himself too)

But it would be cool if he had say different attitudes toward the player based on their karma. - There are a few npcs like I've thought this could apply to.

It's possible, you just need to add a condition for that to trigger: https://www.creationkit.com/index.php?title=Bethesda_Tutorial_Dialogue

      Should be under "condition item".

Not to butt-in, but I don't see how you can possibly leave the vault with bad karma. Especially evil karma. Just sayin'.

I'll take a look, if i can't get it, I'm happy to give you editing access so you can add the feature since you've helped me with my mods in the past.

You can defenitely get bad karma, maybe not enough to change the player's character into "Evil Karma" by itself but you can walk the first steps towards it.

The point though is Mr Burke should only approach people that don't look like goody two-shoes. It doesn't make sense for him to approach players that seem good and therefore prone to snitching.

So, what the mod will try to do is for the quest to only open up for players that have evil karma or just barely neutral karma.

You have to side with Butch with Amata's weight and steal everything

yeah, I agree this approach is way better than vanilla Emil Palgurino intention of Mr. Burke. I mean, its kinda silly for someone want bad thing to happen & you just pick up someone on the go without knowing what their reputation or surrounding are.

Yeah. It was kinda silly in Vanilla. Glad you enjoy the mod. Cheers.
