Early 2023 review: So I finally been able to complete this nice little quest, thanks to alternative version of the .esp from AmaccurzerO. As I understand, my CtDs were appeared because of Sprint Mod that I used in the playthrough, so I, of course, miss some features of the new costume, but that's not a big deal for more. As for the quest, It was fun, challenging and straight forward. Redesign of Revenants is pretty cool, fun little feature is that you can find on their corpses super mutant blood samples for repeatable quest from Broken Steel DLC. I thought that Paladin won't see any difference🤣 You can expect one easy stealth sequence and few encounters with new enemies. Also, I think it's one of the shortest quests from AmaccurzerO and quest was good, but I wished to have at least one additional dungeon with Revenants to shoot at. Yes, they're very "bullet spongie", but only 2 fights with them wasn't enough for my taste. Overall, another decent quest mod, despite very short length. Should you try this mod in 2023? Yes, won't conflict with any big mod, but if you want to see all new features maybe it's better to disable any sprint mod to experience "Revenants" in full capacity.
I do not know if anyone still pays attention to this or not and I know that my comment will not be very helpful (only because I have over 265 mods [bashed down to 215 plugins running] and I am not about to go through each one to see what is causing the problem) but this mod causes a near instant CTD. I went through and turned off mods backwards in order of when I downloaded them and found I got by the crash by turning this one off, restored everything but this one and the game runs fine. Again, apologies that I am not going to go through my entire mod list to determine what the conflict is, I am just posting to let people that this mod DOES conflict with something so if you are experiencing instant CTD (i.e. hangs on the first slide a moment and then crashes) turn this mod off and see if you get past it. Have a good day.
Also couldn't get this mod running after the very first slide. I really liked other AmaccurzerO's projects and wanted to write a review for this quest, but some conflict or problem were encountered by me as well. And it's the first quest mod in my 353 plugins load out (including other AmaccurzerO's quests) which cause this instant CtD or freezing. EDIT: Tried to run mod after removing armor scripts, no success. Seems like there's other problem in my case. Sadly, but had to uninstall from load out entirely
I'm sorry but I run FWE which does alter character speed so when I activate this mod it's straight CTD. Is there a workaround? Maybe just setting the character movement speed to vanilla settings?
You can open my mod in the GECK and remove the scripts from the suit and delete any other script that affect the character speed. You may be able to run the quest then. Although you will not be able to enjoy the suit features.
So, I'm having trouble with the file placement, i extracted the .rar to my Fallout3 folder, and it didn't come up on Data files or FOMM, moved the textures and meshes into my data folder, moved the esp into my FOMM Mods folder, and it still doesn't show the mod in either.
Thanks, that did it.  on't know why I didn't check the desk in the first place; I guess I had a notion that I needed to get out of there quickly.
For anyone reading this before playing the mod, I'd like to emphasize what the author said in his description: do NOT have a companion with you when you enter the facility. He, she or it will surely die, as your Stealth Boy only works on you. (Unless. . . if you give him a Stealth Boy, will he activate it? I'll have to go back and try that.)
Am I the only one who can't get through this without dying quickly? I hack the door terminal, open the door, and right away I'm stripped of everything and captured without a fight. The mad scientist goes through his spiel, leaves the room, and I hack the terminal to turn off the interference field. But as soon as I leave the room a couple of revenants come along and blast me to bits. With no weapons or armor I have no chance against them. I had Fawkes with me, so I tried hanging back and letting him fight, but they killed him.
Is there a trick way around the revenants that I'm missing?
There are 5 stealth boys inside the desk that is at the room where Stanilav talks to you. I put them there so the player can escape unseen since he has no weapons. Mm... Explore more, dude
Try downloading the latest version and check the mod is active in FOMM or in Data Files again. You must be in Capital Wasteland. If you are in the Pitt or Point Lookout, he wont be able to find you. And less in Zeta or Anchorage, obviously. If this doesnt solve it, then I dont know what is going on. I can send you the ID of the runner to move him near you by console commands.
Of course. If you are inside the presidential metro or at base Adams, he cant find you there. So far, nobody else has reported that issue and, as I said, I already tested the mod and works fine.
Thank you, paragonskeep. The idea of this mod was born with the armor. But placing just an armor in Fallout is so boring. So I had the idea of making a quest mod about it and it was a way more fun. Dont you think?

yeah i think you are the last of mohicans of the quest modders for FO3 on the nexus. Have you considered to merge all your works in one single plugin in a sort of onowrouzi's We Want More?

You probably have a conflict with another mod.

However, I suppose that is a conflict with another mod that modifies player speed or a sprint mod.
To solve this, I uploaded an optional plugin in which I removed the scripts from the runner suit that changes player speed.
Deactivate the mod. Make a clean save. Extract the optional plugin and overwrite the main plugin. Activate the mod with the new plugin.
Notifiy me if the issue is fixed.
