Does anyone else get three of each guard and brahmin for Crow's caravan, and pink eyes for the added guard? So far this is the only real bug I'm experiencing and can't seem to fix it.
This mod makes the game freeze eventually. I was trying to figure out wich of the mods out of the 300+ i have installed and tested for over a month together with success. Adding this mod to load order makes game freeze..
Arefu Expanded/Crimson Caravan had this with some NPCs, in that mod it was because its author had completely overlooked that for their mod to work you needed to have YoshikinaKota's Hair Pack installed. xEdit doesn't like the record that adds Doc Hoff's coat. For whatever reason, it's not aligning with the other mods that make changes to his outfit. I simply removed the coat record, and the error disappeared.
i like the idea of 2 guards, i always felt that they should get 1 extra each time you invested in them, but ill take what i can get. also the vanilla game makes it inevitable that they all will die, there is no heal after combat added to them like some of the other NPCs. in the game. should be in packages, i have not looked for it yet myself, i just did the dirty hack&slash of making them essential. ill have to remove the inventorys from this, so it wont interfere with what i have already done to them in my game.
Nice work but i wonder, if there is a caravan dead now, will it respawn? i ask because i think that in my game lucky harinth is dead i don't know for sure but in case he is dead now, will he respawn?
Sorry Zer0MX, I didn't add any respawn feature (I´ll investigate possible implementation on future versions). "Revive Caravan" by kaw, seems to help you out with this. Haven´t test if it is 100% compatible with this mod.
to find out for sure, go speak to uncle roe, ask him about lucky or any of those traders, and if they are dead, he will say that he has not heard from them in a long time. also there is a mod called "caravan tracking" uncle roe will give you a way to track them, its a quest type of thing, so if you are done with all quests, it would be a good idea to have the "wasteland explorer" quest mod which is just a null quest that you can click on to get rid of any markers from other quests on your compass & map, "caravan tracking" is a quest thing so if you dont have another to activate, you will have those markers.
Is this compatible with upgrade caravan merchants? I always loved the idea that investing in the caravans gives them new NPCs to protect them, instead of them having a ton right out. Makes sense they would hire more guys to protect the new gear.
Hello, "upgrade caravans merchants" is a great mod, but it is not compatible with this one. Nevertheless, there is no restriction on making alerternative versions of this mod or on reusing any component.
