About this mod

Adds Jer01's Chinese Flamer Rifle (and its unique counterpart) to form lists and levelled lists across the wasteland. Both weapons are affected by the Pyromaniac perk and have their own repair list which includes Scrap Metal, Lead Pipes and the weapons its parts came from, meaning that repair materials are easy to find.

Permissions and credits
Do you like the room clearing qualities of fire weapons but not the weight or clunkyness of the Flamer, or the short reach of the Shishkebab?
Do you want a weapon that can be repaired easily with whatever's left on the battlefield?
Perhaps you need a new weapon to spice up your enemies' arsenal?

My first (published) weapon covers all of these problems and doesn't need a giant-ass backpack either.

For Lore purposes:

The remnant Chinese soldiers in D.C needed a new weapon.

Their measly amount of possible weapons meant that potential American attackers would know exactly what weapons they could use and how to combat them. Cutting board shields could stop all shots from their rifles and... they didn't have any others worth mentioning.

The tight corridors in the building they had settled in meant that it was easy for inquisitive Americans to get cornered, they would have nowhere to run or hide if any of them had a flamethrower of some type. Flamer troops would go up close whilst riflemen shot those that fled, the plan was sound but they didn't possess any weapons like that. They had discovered an old Flamer unit on one of the intruders they had neutralised but the tank was filled with numerous holes, rendering it inoperable.

Then it hit them.
The fuel igniter in the Flamer was for the most part identical to those in the ovens dotted around the place, there was still gas in the pipes, too. The Lead Piping that had come loose was perfect for making barrels whilst they had plenty of rifles that they could use as individual chassis. They got to work and made the weapons that you may be considering to add to your game. Despite their new weapons, they still had casualties and one way or another, the entire wasteland learnt how to make these weapons; For better, or for worse.

Installation:

-Load and install the file into your Nexus/Fallout mod manager and tick the magical load order box.
-Unzip the file and drop the contents into your Data folder. Tick file as a plug-in like you would with a D.L.C.

Requirements:

None at all. Apart from Fallout 3 of course.

Compatibility:

This mod should be compatible with all weapon mods and form/levelled list editing mods, even those that replace the texture of weapons as long as the first person textures aren't deleted/corrupted. The weapon is also compatible with RH Ironsights as well as Burnification to name the only ones I use.

Possible questions:

Q: Can I use this mod in my other mod?A: Alright, as long as you mention Jer01 for the edited mesh (Here: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/18501/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Ffallout3%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D18501%26preview%3D&pUp=1) and me for the weapon itself. That means not copying and pasting the file completely and saying "Thass all me, I did it!"

Q: Couldn't you make your own weapon?A: No, My knowledge of Blender is very limited and I don't have Nifscope. My old version of Photoshop can't even edit .DDS files, never mind make them, meaning that I can't even make such weapons (which is a shame, really).

Q: Why can't your weapon be repaired with [WEAPON] / Why can't your weapon fix mine?A: Because some weapons don't fit/ aren't backwards compatible, a Rolling Pin can't fix a Minigun so a bathtowel cannot fix the rifle. Wonderglue doesn't work as I think it'll melt...

That's it for now, let me know if there's something I missed or if this makes your game break (hopefully it won't).
