Unfortunately messes up the LOD for the rest of the wasteland. Distant scenery seen from areas like Megaton entrance are turned pink as the textures fail to load.
I need help. After I use this mod, many surface buildings are purple shadows in the distance, which is totally inconsistent with the picture display. What is the problem
Fascinating mod, can't help but image that if a Fallout set in New York used the Fo3 engine, these images you displayed is exactly what they'd look like.
There was a logic problem with the basis, the cornerstone of this mod:
Capitol and Pentagon cant have too high skyscraper near them.
It's a matter of strategic policy~ Same with every capital and most important politic locations in the world. They cant have the buildings that house officials and senators get observed by unknown in nearby skyscrapers, do they~ Laser mic, super high def camera etc...
Leaving aside the idea of snipers can get eyeball on a lot of space in such buildings.
Oh no, you cant have that.
This idea would work great with ANY location outside of Capitol building and Pentagon/Citadel. The Pitt? Divide? Vegas? Big Mountain? Even Sierra Madre casino~
Looks great from a distance but when you get to places such as Chevy Chase, the LOD messes up the worldspace. I followed the tutorials and used LOD-gen but still wont work. Great principle, sad I had to uninstall.
I did actually extract and such, but even WHEN I had ran it and put in my "vortex", it still didn't work because all the stuff that is loaded with LOD is still flickering and pink-ish, can someone help me here? (Although this could be caused by the fact, I'm a vortex user)
If you are looking to fix the purple texture issues, this fixed it more me. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/21174?tab=files FO3LODGen LOD generator tool, install manually I only downloaded the main file, extracted the contents to it's own directory and ran the exe. I only checked Wasteland on the left pane. On the right I checked Objects Lod and deselected Tree Lod and then hit generate.
Once I got close to the city the buildings looked great. However, as soon as I got into the city I would CTD every time. Removing the mod was my only course of action at that point and the CTDs went away. I would stay away from it unless the author comes back and fixes things.
So i need to use FO3LODGen and generate only Wasteland?
UPD
Yes and it works. The main thing is that before lod generation process, there are was no unnecessary esp files in Data folder, that are not activated in Mod Organizer, then there will be no errors.

There's any response from naugrim04 or anyone knows how to fix it?
