About this mod

Basically this mod disable the ability of NPCs have infinity ammo. It's compatible with FWE and RH_IronSights and also REQUIRES them and CALIBR. It's great for adding realism to the game and for melee weapons players, wait for NPC to waste ammo and then charge in.

Permissions and credits
In the .rar file, there's readmes 'cut to the case' files if you don't want to read it all.

Intro
----------------------

Ever been in a situation where you were trapped and has run out of ammo and the only way out was to rush in with with melee, dodging bullets, but you always were killed before getting to him due to their unlimited ammo. Ever wanted to make an scenario where ammunition was hard to pass by and have to make every bullet to count in, but the unstoppable NPCs fire breaks that atmosphere. Or perhaps just want to make melee weapons more useful or/and add more realism to the game, then this mod is for you.

Description
----------------------

What's this mod does is activate the 'NPCs use ammo' tag, it's pretty simple, so you can patch others weapon add-on mod yourself, big mods may took a while though.
It's compatible and REQUIRES FWE, RH_IronSights and CALIBR. If you don't have them and want to use this mod, you can download the original mod at http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/7498/? by Salaber. But I strongly recommend to get them.
It doesn't affect robots and sentries. If an robot run ammo of energy it should be disabled and if they still working after many years they probably have an auto source energy. Sentries are linked into another source of energy (bunker's energy, etc.) and more importantly they're suppose to be a treat and not a joke. (since they don't have melee attacks)
They're BETA, and it's a testing release. 50 people works better than one and so on. Any mod may have issues, so I count with the support of the community to find any that has and fix them.

NPCs use ammo.esp >> is the main file, you need to install it.

NPCs use ammo - RH_IronSights new itens >> enable if you have RH_IrongSights new itens add-on.

DLCs patches >> You can enable yours DLCs' patches. I suggest to keep a backup save before starting them, had some issues on FO:NV DLCs. I appreciate those who test it and check out for them.

Optional files
Followers use ammo.esp >> Disable the companions' "unlimited ammo hack".

Increases ammo on NPCs - you can pick only one of them
NPCs use ammo - less NPC increased ammo >> increases NPCs ammo by 1/3.

NPCs use ammo - NPC increased ammo >> Increases ammo at a maximum of 250%, in some cases increases less, tried to not make it too overwhelmed.

Increased BoS and Enclave ammo - load after NPCs increased ammo, if enabled
Increases the ammunition of BoS and Enclaves NPCs. There's 3 versions: 3, 5 and 7 times the vanilla settings, so if using 'NPCs use ammo - NPC increased ammo', that can rise it up to 2,5 times, I suggest to pick 5x or 7x version.

Random ammunition
Makes the quantity of ammo found in NPCs and containers more random. The FWE changes the chances of none to 25%, 40%, 66%, 75% or 90%, according your settings, the higher the hard to get. This mod does not affect it. What it does is, when bypassing the chance of none there's an 100% of getting 1 ammo unity. It changes to:

NPCs use ammo - harsher random ammo >> 50% getting none, 20% getting 1, 10% getting 2, 10% getting 4, 10% getting 6.

NPCs use ammo - random ammo quantity >> 30% of none, 30% of 1, 20% of 2, 10% of 5, 10% of 10,

Install only one of them.

It should make ammo appears in a bit or a lot less or high quantity, depending on your luck.
You should look at the Ammo quantity simulator.xlsx before deciding to install it or not. It simulates the chances on getting ammo quantity with default, random and harsher, your FWE settings affects it as well.

Random ammo and increased ammo don't conflict with each other, but I wouldn't suggest installing both. That's just my opinion anyway.
