Thanks for all the generous feedback, votes & endorsements!
My current plan is to tackle the following textures:
Unique Eugene! Bullet, casing and shell textures (seriously hirez ones) Gauss Rifle (I had a go at it some time last year so I'll just pick up from where I left off) Wrap up on the supermutants (Overlord and captain armour) Vault Suits (So many variants to do...) Maybe then Tesla or the Launcher
Please help. I am trying to install the 4k Fawkes version but when I try to install either of the two versions it says ""would you like to upgrade"... What do I click Yes or No? It only lets me install one version. I thought I could install both versions as the Fawkes file is smaller in file size meaning less resolution?
EVE's textures are a big improvement over vanilla is all I'll say, but I was working on a new version for Wei in EVE F:NV and trust me, you'll want to see it finished. I know I do
Thank for making such an incredible work it just look soooooooooooooo beatiful ( sorry for any bad speech am using my horrible knowledge about english)
To point out for any new folks who download these mods, just wanted to make it clearer than the descriptions. Also, somebody already asked this question in the comments. (Dated in 2016) Tho I believe the reply (dated 2 years later, funny enough) is *partially* false. QUESTION: "Dumb question here: If I want the optional Flamer-Deluxe, Minigun-Deluxe, Lincoln Repeater-Optional Cube Maps, and Supermutants - 4k Fawkes, do I need the regular/standard files as well?" REPLY: "Edit: It seems the deluxe files are standalone and if you want the better textures use deluxe only."
From what I can tell you do need the base mod + the Deluxe in order to get everything. The Deluxe files are in fact standalone and give exactly what is stated in the description. I'm using Mod Organizer 2. If the Deluxe had everything from base plus the extra, the base file would've been flagged as redundant. It is not for me. Furthermore, another comment pointed out that some deluxe files are smaller than the base mod. Further solidifying my deduction. EXAMPLE: Lincoln's Repeater - Details: 2k Normal, Diffuse & Specular maps. 1k for 3rd person. [Base Mod - 5.4MB] Optional: Adds a cube & environment map for simulated reflections. [Optional - 1.6MB]
The only exception is the Bullet casings, Its either base mod OR the Higher 1k Variant. [Installed both, confirmed MO flagged base mod as redundant.]
Download all the mods make your own 7z and upload your own mod it's that simple, also in the case that any of his mods could interfere with your already modded replacers I actually prefer it tbh.
BUG: The Lincoln Repeater Optional Cubemap mesh is bugged. The Block order of the mesh is messed up, causing most of the rifle texture appearing low res in First Person.
I Fixed it and merged with the Fixed meshes of UUF3P: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MkgaO4NqWKvzsPCiU5JnwosD3MKe8t1u/view?usp=share_link
One of my favorite retexture mods for FO3. I really wish you could have worked on the Shotgun and The Terrible Shotgun along with The Magnum. Excellent work, the modding community misses your work Emerald.
I just noticed it now that the Bullet Casings specifically the projectile nifs that comes with it is missing an effect texture named Copper_e.dds. So this is why whenever I go into VATS and the bullet comes flying out the bullet doesn't look quite right. It's shinier than normal. Does anybody have the texture file Copper_e.dds or knows a mod that has it packed with it? I've checked the BSA files of FNV and FO3 and Copper_e.dds isn't available in either. I also checked EVE for FNV and it also doesn't include the texture. Or maybe you guys know a replacement for it? Any help would be nice :)
Sounds like the mod authors custom bullet .nif uses a custom texture that may have accidentally not been included in the download. Thanks for the heads up, your only options are to either ignore the problem, remove the custom .nif file, create the missing effect texture. Or just ask the mod author to update the download with the missing texture. Mod last updated, 2013, >_>
