Fallout 3

About this mod

- Bullet gravity effects - Removal of \"hit scan\" mechanics - Bullet penetration of some objects Soon to be outdated by a much superior realism overhaul I\'m working on!

Permissions and credits
I'll be releasing a newer, super-realistic mod soon that does way more than this including, amongst other things, supersonic bullet crack. You are still welcome to download this one for the time being, of course!

This mod is featured in my new Fallout 3 Let's Play series on Youtube. Click here to watch!

ABOUT
Applies gravity effects to bullets, so they "fall" over longer distances like in Battlefield 3/4, for example; removes "hit scan" mechanics, so the bullet damage is only calculated when the projectile actually makes contact with the target; enables the penetration of some objects, such as fences; improves the visibility of tracers slightly, so you can better judge the new bullet mechanics.

Now you actually have a reason to use a scope re-texture mod ;)

An optional version with faster/realistic bullet speed is coming soon!

COMPATIBILITY
Will not be compatible with any mod that alters the vanilla bullet projectile settings.

Any mod that adds new projectiles (WMK for example) will be fully compatible, but won't have the new effects applied.

HOW TO MODIFY NEW PROJECTILES ADDED BY OTHER MODS AND/OR DLCs
IMPORTANT! Make a backup of the mod in question's .esp file as you will be modifying it!

Open up the G.E.C.K. and load Fallout3.esm plus the mod you wish to modify as the active file.

In the object browser window, navigate to Special Effect > Projectile

Find the projectile you wish to edit and double-click it.

Make the following changes:
- Un-tick the flag for "Hitscan"
- Tick the flag for "Pass Through Small Transparent"
- Change the "Gravity" value to 1.0
- Change the "Range" value to 60000 (sixty thousand)
- Change the "Fade Duration" value to 5.0

Repeat this process for each projectile added by the mod, then save.
