Description

Spotlight that lights distant objects and smoothly follows your crosshair. Works in conjunction with adjustable Pip-Boy light.

It works like directional light mods but lights only objects around the place it falls onto and a lot farther. Unlike directional light mods for F3/FNV it doesn't have significant impact on performance.

Pip-Boy light is adjustable: it has three levels of intensity (dim, standard, bright) and can be switched off completely.

Both lights switched on and off as usual (hold Pip-Boy control). To switch Pip-light modes press Activate while holding Run/Walk (Shift+E for example) when looking into empty space, to switch spotlight on/off use the same combination but hold Activate for a second instead of tapping.

Switching requires FOSE. Without it you can change modes only via the console:
set rmSLModePipBoy to <value><span class="wbbtab"></span>(0 = off, 1 = dim, 2 = normal, 3 = bright)<br>set rmSLModeRoaming to <value><span class="wbbtab"></span>(0 = off, 1 = on)<br><br>Advanced usage: Spotlight behavior can be adjusted with "set rmSLMain.frames to <val>" (default: 4) and additionally by changing quest delay (default: 0.09)<br><br>======================<br>Installation<br>======================<br><br>Note: FOSE is recommended. Download it <a href="http://fose.silverlock.org/">here</a>.<br>Copy .esp and meshes folder to Data folder and activate.<br><br>You can optionally use legacy rmSpotlight_2L.esp instead which uses the same principle as in v1.0. This one doesn't require meshes.<br><br>======================<br>History:<br>======================<br><br>1.1, 2013-10-04<br>* Fixed positioning bugs<br>* Rewritten spotlight: uses muzzle flashes now, alternative version with persistent light (similar to first version) is also available.
