Your own personal drivable vehicle. Jet hovercraft that is fun to ride and helpful in your daily Wasteland activities. Fully integrated and lore-friendly game feature. Go to Car Dealership south of Megaton to start.

This is a modified version of HoverChair. Now almost finalized and integrated like a normal game feature.
Most of its description still applies to this updated version and videos can give you an idea on riding process.

Key differences:
- game integration with a little quest
- CRAFTable fuel instead of fission batteries
- original weapons are removed (impractical and computationally heavy)
- tweaks to handling (slow backward movement, rotational inertia, slight bump-up on impact, etc.)
- uses game controls (no remapping)
- you can activate objects, loot bodies and talk to people without leaving your seat
- wear and repair
- installable upgrades
- Fast Travel option
- numerous reliability modifications

The Hoverchair runs on craftable fuel (requires CRAFT mod).
Keep in mind it's supposed to be an expensive toy. You can run out of materials for the fuel so don't rely on using it non-stop.

Controls:
Movement keys to move
Grab to dismount
Jump to Leap
Run/Walk to toggle Inertial Damper on/off
Sneak/crouch to activate Thrust Booster
VATS to show remote control menu (when riding)

Grab and move around to drag the Hoverchair (crouch to lift it up a bit)

Condition is lowered gradually when riding and significantly on collisions. If it's too low it may fail to start when trying to ride or fast travel and damage the vehicle further. Having multiple specific parts in zero or lower condition increases failure chance.

There are 'Hoverchair Location' quest that can be used to track its current location and the map marker that can be fast-travelled to.

Remote control is mostly for emergencies. Don't abuse remote call much.

There are installable upgrades scattered around the Wasteland:
Cargo Expanders - add separate cargo hold and increase maximum weight load.
Inertial Damper - improves handling but increases fuel consumption when active
Leap Booster - allows to jump (has cooldown)
Thrust Booster - increases speed temporarily
Ram - triples collision damage
Electric Cannon - shoots powerful electric discharge at the object under crosshair. Uses no ammo and has few seconds recharge delay. Affected by Energy Weapons skill. (Uses Tesla Cannon assets hence Broken Steel requirement).

Known Issues/Limitations:

The mod is of a lot higher complexity than the simple script engine designed to handle and is built with hacks and workarounds so glitches are possible, but nothing should break without being recoverable. If something goes wrong use remote control options.

If you manage to make chair physics stuck use following commands on it in the console:
