Buyable Slaves

Allows you to buy slaves from the slavers at Paradise Falls. Designed to work with (or without) the Slaves Stick Around v1.3 plugin.

Slaves are brainwashed in a "Clover-esque" style, so they hold a similar level of adoration for you. They'll fight for you, etc. I think the price of a slave is substantially high enough (750 to 1250 Caps, depending on your Karma) to A) give the player something to buy! (Not enough of that going around.) and B) deter massive armies of balance-altering NPCs. At least, for most players. It should still be doable for the particularly determined, of course.

Politically Correct Disclaimer:
I do not endorse slavery, but it's in the game, so it's something you should have the option to partake in. That should be obvious, and is about as much effort as I'm willing to put into that. So stop bugging me. :)

IMPORTANT: Please bear in mind that I do try to test my mods as thoroughly as possible, but bugs are inevitable, especially when a large number of NPCs come into the picture (per the Slaves Stick Around mod). I'm confident that bugs will be relatively few, but if you do find one, bear with me. Let me know when there is a problem, and as always, I'll have it fixed ASAP.

Talk to Grouse about purchasing a slave. Then choose a slave via dialogue with them, and return to Grouse once your selection has been made.

Note: You will lose 75 Karma for every slave you purchase.

Version 1.1:
Fixes for numerous bugs, particularly dealing with slaves suddenly disappearing, or running back to Paradise Falls.

Slaves are now removed from their factions when you buy them, which should reduce the Raiders' urge to attack everything they see. Note that this does not alter a slave's personality BEFORE you buy them; that will be a separate release, in the Slaves Stick Around mod.

Tested successfully on:

Susan Lancaster (VIP slave)
Rivet City Guard (female)
Miss Jeanette (default slave)
Bronson (default slave)
Arkansas (VIP slave)

KNOWN ISSUES:

Sometimes, a generic NPC (such as a Raider) can re-equip its weapon, even after you have stolen it from them. Also, generic NPCs are known to spontaneously change sex (and possibly other minor details) after being sent to Paradise Falls. This is believed to be caused by the method in which the GECK stores its data, and cannot be addressed by this plugin.
