Just completed the mod and unlocked Vault 691 - very nice living space!! :) I really like it, and the computer notes provide great story background, but for some reason I am unable to talk to Wilbur. And, am I supposed to be able to talk to the slave girls in the Party Room?

This mod was very atmospheric, in a good way, and a bit creepy in places. Great design on the sewage plant, but I was surprised with how huge the building was - Dunwich must have been a city to warrant such a huge and cavernous sewage treatment plant!! I was level 25 going through this, but the combat was still challenging in places - especially those nasty Reavers!

Question on the rewards - does the Necronomicon do anything? Does Dr. Whately's Conjurations book do anything other than wail? (which sent shivers down my spine when I first heard it!)

Overall - great mod - Endorsed!!

I enjoyed this more than anticipated. No bugs that I could see, good voices, the new jukeboxes were extra cool A+ work.

Found the key to the partyroom in the trashcan, BUT several doors in the party room are locked and needs key to open it says. Is there anything in these rooms and where are the keys if so? I'm inclined to think they may be unfinished and therefore permalocked since there's no keys for those last 2-3 rooms maybe?? Does anybody know?

Late response but there is no key to the locked door besides party room. I consoled command unlock the doors and there is nothing behind them, I even no clipped just to be sure i wasnt missing anything. For the ladder to the wasteland I just used unlock cause im not gonna go searching for a key....

posting here because i cant find the answer anywhere (as is the case with any questions one might have about most fallout 3 mods),
    Spoiler:
    Show
i know if you free the girls most choose to stay, but if you free Lola, she leaves in search of her family (a noble thing to do, and respectable). call me sick or cruel, but i kinda do want all the girls to stay. does she come back if you free her? or is the only way to keep her there is to be an absolute asshole to her and keep her as a slave?

other than that, great and fun mod. "house mods" are a weird one for me because they break the muscle memory I have of just stuffing things in the megaton house (plus, the bobblehead stand, if you dont do this quest early, end up stuck in megaton and cant be placed in this one.) that and more space than i know what to do with. definitely recommend.

Tried this out since it was recommendation from another user. My Two Cents worth as it is:

For your first mod it wasn't too bad. I have tried out a LOT of mods from first timers and been disappointed. Interesting concept, battle and housing. I had to 'cheat' since I couldn't find one of the keys and gave up on it. The characters are interesting along with their backstory.

    Pros:
Character Voices were nicely done and wasn't generated like some other mods out there.
    Storyline:
As mentioned above, the storyline was interesting, well-thought and 'fit' into the Fallout 3 lore.
One scene scared the **** out of me! Wasn't prepared for the loud void. Since I usually play in the dark, with my headphones capturing every sound, it caught be completely by surprise
Like the new music on the jukebox. As I understand from the pop-up, it is from your band. I would have loved to hear more from you.

    Cons:
No way to quick access the place. With me having so many houses already, and a limited source of teleporters to said houses, I hate having to walk back to get home ROFL!
The only other complaint, as someone else pointed out on here, is the de-selecting of the quest.

    Final Verdict:
    10 out of 10

The music from the band honestly would be considered pseudo lost media, it's not lost but we don't know the name of the band. At the same time its lost since its very obscure if you haven't stumbled onto this.

I was playing with TTW and the mod was very stable, no problems at all.
The quest was mostly very good, pretty long and interesting, areas were well planned and realistic, quest ending came bit suddenly and was a bit boring.

What i did not like was the vault that came as a home, that kind hotel does not fit at all into the mods general feeling. Mod would be better without it.

Thanx for the feedback!..I tend to agree with you..I'm not a big fan of huge player homes either..imo they loose that cozyness and effectiveness you find in smaller homes. I disagree though that it doesn't fit the story line..you can't expect a dozen or so doctors to hole up In a one room shack and use that as a headquarters for an undisclosed amount of time..the mod just kinda evolved that way and I wrote the and story around it...it is what it is..
thanx for yout endorsement though and your honesty..

Early 2023 review: So, basically good new "dungeon" based quest which involves some unlocking doors, fighting many ghouls and reading notes. As I look through other users comments, I must assure you that in this mod "running around to find switches" isn't as bad as some people wrote it in the past reviews. Especially, if you played mods like AQFH series or "A note easily missed", it's nowhere near this type of pixel hunting like in mentioned quests mods. Just a medium size adventure without mind-bugging puzzles.
Aside from some little grammar misspellings, atmosphere of dungeon is semi-horror and story is as lore-friendly as it could've been if you remember original implementation of Dunwich Building and "Lovecraftian mood" in the base game.
This quest like "There's No Such Thing As Bad Publicity" would definitely improve your playthrough and expand on original story of Dunwich corporation.
Should you try this mod in 2023? Absolutely, if you want to shoot more ghouls, test your radiation resistance and find out more about pre-war secrets which only you can uncover after 200 years.

Dr Whateley isn't spawning or I can't find him. I found some sort of security door key in the room that's flooded with water, but it doesn't do anything. This is an infuriating mod to play apart from the grammar mistakes, and the constant running around looking for something that's supposed to be there, but isn't.

Once you find the Institute Scientists bodies, and the quest starts, you CANNOT deselect the quest to finish another instead. It forcefully reselects the quest to find the entrance. I clicked the quest away several times to finish another, but 0.5 seconds later my quest is back on finding the Vault entrance.
