This is some real amateur work, but that's ok it just needs some polishing. The blue lights still remain out of place in the Megaton atmosphere, shops stay open even after 8 pm, the Guard is selling me weapons in 100% mint condition, there's a wire on the passageway up to the druggie bar that the player walks into (doesn't stop the player from walking, just feels out of place and looks real sloppy) and the druggie guy just feels SO out of place. So this random drug dealer runs this empty bar at a 24/7 inhumane shift in raider clothing? Also the pole that holds up the entire Bar is also out of place, it sorta gets in the way of the passage over the clinic and the front pathway to the crater/bomb. Also your mod causes a glitch where some planks on the floor leading up to the players house from ground level are now slanted outwards directly. I also read in the description that the new NPC's would interact with the world around them. I have yet to see that. If you're looking for ways to do that and make them immersive, having them fall asleep, having people enter their place's/ chill out at the raider bar (please make him wear something else, even Jericho was a raider but he doesn't wear that, it just looks so out of place) after 8:00 PM, or maybe link your druggie's storyline with the druggie storyline already in megaton (I can't recall his name at the moment but I remember all his drugs are in the water plant).

That's all that this mod needs though, some more polish/elbow grease and more things in the mod. I've noticed you really like the front part of megaton, seeing as how that's where 3 of your shops are. Maybe expand out into/under megaton? I noticed in the airship part atop Lucas Simm's house there's a nice sniper ledge there. At first I though it was going to be used as a clever way to look over Megaton and see all the changes you made but so far I can't find any, all the changes I've seen are behind the sniper ledge and near Megaton's gate.

EDIT: Found the dressed shop. Needs a lot of polish as well. There's a pipe going right through it yet when I go inside it's not there, it's completely out of the way, there's not even a path to it, it's practically hidden. And again he's selling me 100% mind condition gear. Also the bottom part of the door is technically sinking into the ground. If you brought the shop closer to the pathway above the clinics shop, you could edit the path to make it also branch off to the dressed shop and bringing closer to the path could also bring it down further so that way the random pipe wouldn't be poking through it. If you're still having issues with that pipe you could always go inside of the building and have it inside of there as well. Would fit with the junk-town feel anyways.

Show me how it's done, Glardian966. You're being way too harsh for someone who has 0 mods and has contributed nothing to the modding community. While many of your points are valid, you could have been much more kind.

"This is some real amateur work."

You know what else is amateur? The fact that you have no mods on any Nexus. Easy to be a critic when you have nothing to offer.

I'm sorry but just because he haven't got anything made doesn't mean his points aren't valid, and you made that the main point of your post: "Oh yeah, well what did YOU do?"

No offense to you, wolverinetree, but I'll have too agree with Glardian966. This is really sloppy and needs a lot of polish. You say you meant it to be as seamless as possible, yet one of your stores is stuck half way into the ground. If you want it to be as "seamless" as possible then why did you add the out-of-place blue and red lights? Why is a store located half way in the ground? Why are the guns being sold is mint condition? Why is the bar running 24/7? Seriously, finish your mod before releasing it.

And just because Glardian966 doesn't have any mods uploaded, doesn't make his opinion automatically wrong. You don't need to be a mod maker yourself too criticize something. You have no way of knowing if he has made any personal mods for himself. Any one can come to this mod page and see that this is nothing special. I could have made this mod myself within 1-2 hours. You said that the fact that Glardian966 hasn't uploaded anything and contributed nothing to the community makes him amateur. Sorry but that's no argument, do you really think that the Nexus sites was made just for mod makers? No, it was made too share the work of others and help to spread modding. Not every user is going to be spending hours in the G.E.C.K. or the Creation Kit. I bet 60% of the Nexus users haven't even touched either program. Downloading and endorsing mods is enough contribution in itself.

Alumini, you are seriously the rudest, most inconsiderate human I've ever come across on here. You are incorrect in everything you say. You, unlike Glardian966, are a person who has added things to this website, but somehow, as if you feel your guise permits it, you prance around criticizing every single mod down to the last absolute detail, making sure that the mod creator feels bad about him/herself. You say you could do what I do in 1-2 hours? HAHA! I'M BEGGING YOU, PLEASE DO IT! But you won't, because you are a very bitter human being who comes onto mod pages and berates and demeans mod authors. Continue to be the bitter and inconsiderate vermin that you are. I hope you overcome your ailment.

I would just like to say that all modders deserve credit for their work regardless of its condition, now that being said moders should also be able to take constructive critisizem I mean after all Glardian966 is only pointing out things so you can improve apon them in future updates also before u say anything I do have things on my account for New Vegas just not Fallout 3

I rarely ever comment on any mod unless I find the need too do so, like here in this argument. Everything Glardian966 said is completely valid, but you calling him amateur just because he hasn't uploaded anything is not valid. You're acting like I'm a terrible person for calling you out on this, and giving my opinion on your mod. I am not demeaning or berating you, I'm just speaking up and saying something. I've had people come to me and say my mods are bad too, yeah it sucks, but you can learn from it. Maybe you should learn how to take criticism, it's not the end of the world. Just because I don't like your mod, doesn't mean other people will, you have 22 endorsements so it's obvious some people like your mod. If you think what Glardian966 and I said is harsh, then you must have sensitive feelings. I apologize if I really did seem harsh, rude, or inconsiderate, but I was just giving you constructive criticism, as was Glardian966. You can either be open to it or not.

Dear Qenosa/wolverinetree (because you are a bit dear),

You need to know something.I have not been given millions of dollars to make money. However, the director of Grown Ups 2 was.I honestly don't think he would insult me if I told him his movie was a load of trash.I think he would just ignore me.Your posts take place during 8/7 to 8/10.Gee,I can't tell if you're trolling or angsty.Did you ignore someguy2000's words of wisdom already? He isn't focused on this nexus;oh look billie, the metaphorical teacher's gone!let's keep fcking around with timmy. Now see how harsh the criticisms get.

"out of place, sloppy, amateur" is it that mean?
Calling people vermin, rude, inconsiderate, and bitter (which I would say is hypocritical) makes you kind of bitter, too,eh?What I am getting at here is that you should take these criticisms a lot more maturely by saying "okay","alright",or "I disagree. You see,it's all a communist plot (or Moira is really smart)!".The nexus finds those phrases unhelpful but it's necessary for feedback responses. One thing I noticed is that you have really high opinion of yourself because of voicing.Everyone likes voiced stuff, but really,it's evident you should be more modest.

I can't see why anybody should be getting harrassed for this mod, even i have chosen not to dl it. I found plenty of mods what are just not working propper or not even working at all.
This entire complex above discussing the inaptence of the various ppl is nothing but sicking people what like to enjoy the the game.

There is sure enough space to destroy something within the game. You like it more PvP, you should go online and check on something you can play with ppl that comply.

Why i do not load this mod is an issue with my system, i got lags at Megaton since the installation. Vanilla crashed before reaching the gates, so i am never getting any overhaules of that location, just to get sure.

wolverinetree you have to take the criticism not reject it. These people are here to help you not go against you. It may seem harsh but it is the only way to get the points across. You say Aluminia points are not valid and and Aluminia points are null because he was telling it how it is but the truth is that you are the rude one here, defending something that clearly needs to be ironed out. My advice to you is take the advice not argue with it.

@wolverinetree: When someone tells you that your work needs some corrections / extra work, the best course of action is to hear them out calmly. If more than one person says the same thing, then maybe that should be taken as a sign.

Nobody here is trashing your efforts - they simply pointed out parts that need improvement as with every other mod that appears here...... Without, I might add, making nasty personal remarks or with any hidden agendas. New mods are always welcomed here (and some have been downright bizarre, but I digress ), but honest feedback is vital. Would you prefer that people here said NOTHING?

One absolute certainty is that NOBODY's work is ever perfect. Looking at all the mods on Nexus, it is very easy to see that pretty much all of the better ones have gone through a number of changes, tweaks, corrections and so forth. Because, as I already said, nobody's work is ever perfect - especially not first time.

Right now, two basic courses of action for you:
      1) Storm off in a royal snit, vowing never to come back because nobody here appreciates your genius. That would be your loss, not anyone else's;
      2) Learn from all this, then keep working at and improving your mod. I for one quite like the general idea of it, expecially that open-air bar. But it does need more work.

      It really is that simple.

criticism is supposed to be constructive. in fact thats a rule on this site. ya'll are some of the rudest people i have ever seen in my life. your points being valid in no way gives you the right to act superior, talk down to someone, or just make a general *** of yourselves. pretty easy to talk smack from behind a computer screen isn't it.

    I downloaded this mod twice:

    1) After watching your "Top 100 Mods for Fallout 3" videos (btw gg with self-promoting, you sneaky sneak, you :U) include this mod, I thought it was worth checking out. I took a look at it for about a half-hour tops, quit my game, then came back and read the comments (including the thread criticizing your work; I'll get to that in a minute).

    2) Because after installing it, I deleted the .zip containing everything. I didn't read the description to see if there was an uninstall, and I took it once more so I could find where everything was in my Data folder, and deleted it.

Now, I know your first reaction to this is to either dismiss this as hate, or you're going to tell me that I haven't contributed anything to the Nexus (true), and that I couldn't do any of the stuff you did (also true) and dismiss me. However, you don't always have to create in order to be able to critique. You of all people should know this; after all you're the guy making "Top 100 Fallout ______ Mods" videos, placing mods in order from 100 ( "least great" ) to 1 ( "most great" ), and critiquing the minor things that come with them (you seem to hate non-VO mods, don't you?), meanwhile you've only made one mod, and it added structures, NPCs, and some VO dialogue (btw gg with the VO; imo I would've considered only adding one vendor that sells a little of everything, because you can tell that you voiced at least two of the three - I won't say "four" because I couldn't find the weapons vendor in his store - NPCs and that takes away from the realism of the game) to a pre-made town.

If that isn't enough of a reason for you to accept criticism from people who don't necessarily contribute their own mods, let me throw this at you:

Say you break your leg. You don't know how to fix it. You go to a hospital, and you're in the emergency room.
The doctor finally gets to you, and decides he's going to set the bone and prepare your leg for casting.
During the procedure, he makes a major mistake, and the bone is now jutting out of your leg. You're in an insufferable amount of pain.
You begin to scream in pain and berate the doctor for not being able to set the bone correctly.
He brushes you off, stating that /he/ is the doctor here, not /you/, and that you couldn't do what he does.
Your leg is still broken, and you are able to see that he did an awful job helping you, despite having nowhere near enough medical knowledge to treat yourself.

Tl;dr: Your mod isn't gr8/10; please listen to the people who have seen your mod and consider their ideas when you attempt to make your next mod/attempt to make this mod gr8/10

All-in-all this mod is pretty good. I like the new areas and especially that lounge area. It makes the town just liven up a little and I like that. However, I'm having a problem with the gun-shop owner just not appearing. He's not there and I'm just wondering if it's something with me or if everybody is experiencing. Also, that line pole that's on the passageway up to the bar/lounge just feels out of place. I assume that can be simply resolved and it doesn't take away from the mod at all, it's just my OCD kicking in heh. Anyway, for a nice location mod you did a nice job man. Keep it up
