About this mod

Ever wished that you could obtain achievements that were displayed in game, well now you can? Welcome to the Achievements for PC mod.

Permissions and credits
Welcome to the Achievements for PC mod. There are 24 different achievements that you can try to, well achieve. Most of the 50 console achievements dealt with karma or completing individual quests. This mod keeps nine of the console achievements not dealing with karma or individual quests and adds some new ones. Some of the new achievements come from the list displayed on the Pipboy under Stats and then General, incorporating almost all of them.

Four new achievements deal with finding items around the Wasteland, two of which are very difficult. Around the wasteland are nine corpses. On the corpses are nine notes. The corpses are very hard to find and blend in with the scenery somewhat. You will need to find 10 keys. Seven keys are found laying around, one key is pickpocketed, one key is found on a dead body, and one key is an electronic key card. You must acquire 12 unique and hard to obtain foods. Seven foods can be obtained while scavenging, one of which is actually a miscellanous item. One food will have to be stolen, one food will have to be bought, one food has to be made, one food is part of a mini quest, and one food is prepared by an NPC. You need to obtain five operators manuals. Three are found in the wasteland. Two are given by NPC's.

I kept the number of actions necessary to achieve a console achievement the same for the PC, except that: you have to kill twice as many creatures, instead of crafting one of each weapon you need level 3 schematics for all weapons and craft 40 weapons, instead of placing one frag grenade in a pocket you must place 20.

I created some limited edition bottle cap achievement tokens for 11 achievements, and one special edition bottle cap achievement token. I created thirteen trophies from ingame items and used a display case without the door to display them. They look pretty sweet.

I created displays for either Megaton or Tenpenny homes, depending on which you have. It was difficult finding a place to put them as the themes take up just about every square inch of space. I also had trouble with wall bounding boxes. I place the tokens on a wall and you could not activate them because of the wall bounding box, so the fix is not perfect. In fact if you jump up on the tokens in Megaton then it causes them to all fall to the floor. This does not happen just running into them, so be aware that you can knock them down, even though you have to try pretty hard.

Some achievements require Perks, such as the Paralyzing Punch Perk, so be aware.

NOTE: I am playing with the Broken Steel DLC and the corpses are often missing for some reason. I went back to a pre BS game and the corpses were all there, so be aware. I am having a little difficulty getting the notes. Should have done it before I loaded BS.
