This mod adds the Soviet bolt-action rifle Mosin Nagant to the wasteland.
There are two variants of the rifle, scoped and regular. You can find the regular one pretty easy, but the scoped rifle is hard to find, there are only five of them.
The rifle has slightly more damage (27) than the Hunting Rifle (25), it costs more (200) than the HR (150), slightly more precised and heavier and is equaly durable.
NPC's that usually use Hunting Rifles have 50% chance of having a Mosin Nagant. The rifle is using Vanilla .32 caliber ammunition.
Installation: Just put the files in your fallout3/data folder and check the esp with FOMM or Fallout Launcher (I recommend FOMM).
Uninstallation: Uncheck the esp and remove the files.
After you install this you need to do a cell reset, here's how to do it:
-Go to your house/suite/wherever you live in and wait for 4 in-game days (96 hours).
If you don't do the cell reset, the rifles won't be enenly distributed throughout the wasteland untill the cells reset.
And you should also make a merged patch to ensure there are no conflits with other mods and to merge the leveled lists. Here's how to do that:
1. Start FO3 Edit
2. Load your mods
3. When everything loads select all your mods, then right-click on the mod list and select Create Merged Patch
4. A small window will pop up asking you to name your patch, write something and click Create
5. Now when exiting FO3 Edit another window will pop up named Save Changed Files, click OK
6. When starting FOMM put your patch LAST in the load order and check it
7. Enjoy the game
I am also releasing this as a modders resources so you can do whatever you want with the files.
Everything in this file is made by me so feel free to use it in your own mods, make modifications, improvement, anything you want.
