About this mod

Remodel of the vault suit to make it much cuter. If the tunnelsnakes can have their own gang, then so can the Vault Girls. Available as a replacer for the existing vault suits, or as a non-replacer

This mod adds a version of the vault suits that is infinitely cuter, for those vault-rocking parties underground! If the tunnel-snakes get to have their own gang, then the Vault Girls can too. The outfit comes in two versions: with black boots, and with the converse-ish shoes from the utility jumpsuit. It's basically the merc-charmer outfit, made sleeveless and fit to the vault-suit texture with some slight modifications. Made it kind of on a lark for a pictorial story I'm writing, and it was well-received and I thought it was super cute so I'm passing it on to you.

There are four shoe-color possibilities, easily chosen with a small tweak on the install, directions will follow in the install instructions below. CHANGING THE SHOE COLOR IS EXTREMELY EASY TO DO, AND I WILL TAKE REQUESTS FOR FOUR MORE COLORS TO RELEASE IN A SECONDARY COLOR PACK, SO IF THERE'S A COLOR YOU SIMPLY HAVE TO HAVE, LET ME KNOW. (solid colors only please. I'm not that great at making new textures so plaids or paisley's are beyond my skill)

Comes as two versions, a replacer and a non-replacer. The replacer version changes the basic Vault suit model to the Vault Girl for all of the different vaults, as well as the 101 utility jumpsuit into the shoes-variant. This makes them a collections quest, per the original game, and of course gives all your vault friends much cuter outfits to look at. I have left a version of the original, and changed the inventory of several NPCs to make them wear the old suit. I didn't think that Old Lady Palmer was someone anyone wanted to see wearing a tiny skirt. IT SHOULD BE NOTED, HOWEVER, THAT UNLESS YOU START FROM THE BEGINNING, IT TAKES A LITTLE WHILE FOR THE GRAMMA'S INVENTORY TO RESET, SO UNLESS YOU LIKE THE EYE-BLEACH, IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE VAULT IN THE EARLY GAME THEN START A NEW GAME!!

The non-replacer version adds a box to my standard location, by the slide on the main drag in Springvale, just across from the gas station. Reference the screen shot.

THE FAMOUS VAULT 69!!: There are, in addition, two outfits (one of each variant) from the most popular vault around. In both versions, they are in a box right in the place that you would expect them to be, Dukov's place. They are upstairs in one of the side rooms. Reference the screen shots. There are only the two, and there will only ever be two, by my hand at least. When it comes to Vault 69, you need two, and three's a crowd. (cough)

INSTALLATION: Unzip the files. Take the data folder and drop it into your Fallout folder so that it merges with the existing Data folder. By default install, you data folder is located at c:// program files (x86 for win7)/bethesda softworks/fallout3/data, or at least something close to that. If you did not do a default isntall, then I imagine you know where your data folder is already. Activate the esp, and enjoy.

DEINSTALLATION: Erase the vaultgirlrp esp. Go into your textures and meshes folders to the jonasclothes folder, and erase the Vault girl folder inside of both of them. If this is the only mod of mine you have installed, then you can erase the whole jonasclothes folder. Feel sad.

CHANGING THE SHOE COLOR: Find in the downloaded files the folder marked ShoeVariants. Inside are the 4 color choices. Pick the one you want and open that file. COPY (don't just pull them out!) the texture folder, and paste it into your data file so that it merges with the existing texture folder, and overwrites the original texture file shoes.dds. That's all there is to it. If you just pull them out, however, you lose the originals, and will be forever going back to download the file just to get more. And as I mentioned above, I will be taking requests for four more colors. (solid colors only please, I'm not going to do plaids or paisleys or anything like that because I'm not that great at creating textures.)
