Description
--------------------------------------
Tired of slogging through Operation: Anchorage? Hear about how much of a bore it is and don't want to deal with it on any level? Want the cool gear, but can't bring yourself to start the DLC?

You're the person I made this mod for.

Near Arlington Cemetery, there is a vault guarded by Chinese Remnant soldiers. The vault is locked, and the Chinese don't know where to look for the key. Can you decipher the note and find the key? Do it, and you gain access to all the loot for Operation: Anchorage.

Of course, you don't need the key, you just have to be REALLY good at picking locks...

What this mod DOES do
--------------------------------------
I tried to do something like this before. I created a mod that allowed you to jump to the end of the Anchorage Simulation, and it worked...kinda (some people had problems with getting out of the simulator chair). I was never really happy with it, but it worked so I left it alone. But, after a long time, I came up with a different way to skip the sim.

I moved the loot.

This mod makes a new vault inside "Mama Dolce's" where the Chinese Remnant troops are. So you can now get the gear without having to slog through the annoying and linear simulation. It also includes all the equipment you normally wouldn't get, like General Chases Overcoat, the Chinese General's Uniform, etc. In addition to the default Chinese Stealth Armor, I added a version that separates the helmet from the base armor that I called the Chinese Stealth Suit (separate helmet included).

The only thing you don't get is the "Powered Armor Training" Perk. You'll have to get that on your own from the Brotherhood, or some other mod.

I also included a few small fixes (well, to me they're fixes). The Gauss Rifle no longer hides backpacks and the Stealth Helmet now uses the glasses, mask, etc slots, basically any equipment slot that made sense. I have also fixed the script that gives the Winterized T-51b to give the proper wasteland version.

Keep in mind, the old vault is still there and accessible if you want to. However, I included an optional plugin that should completely cut off Bethesda's OA quest by deleting the OA starting quest "Aiding the Outcasts", silencing the radio broadcast, and removing the door to Bailey's Crossroads.

What this mod DOES NOT do
--------------------------------------
This mod won't allow you to get the items if you don't have the "Operation: Anchorage" DLC.

Update
--------------------------------------
Version 1.0: Initial release.
Version 1.1: Forgot to fix the Winterized T-51b script to give the wasteland version.

Install
--------------------------------------
Place the "AltAchorageLocation.esp" file in your Fallout 3 Data directory. Activate the plugin using your preferred means of doing so.

If you don't want anything to do with Operation Anchorage as Bethesda intended, install and activate the "AltAnchorageLocation - GoodbyeOutpost.esp".

Load order for the two plugins does not matter.

Uninstall
--------------------------------------
Delete the plugins you have installed.
