I made my comparison to my own satisfaction and have gone back to using sparkling eyes, which has about 13 eye colors and appears to me to be more spontaneous and realistic. Actually the comparison was made over many hours of game play and not just since my previous comment below. I will allow my endorsement here to remain in place, because this is a great mod. Thats cool, eyes are one of those VERY personal preference kind of things. Most eye mods I find make the sclera waaaay to white (it looks very unnatural to me in game) for my tastes and its one of those things that bother me the most in games, I find sparkling eyes to be one of those mods that does that.
I have also used sparkling eyes. I presently use your soulful eyes so as to make my own comparison. Both your mod and that mod are nicely done. Indeed I too find I am looking into the eyes of the npcs with whom I have an interaction. I find myself engaging them occasionally just to look, so you know your mod does work as advertised. Why does it require New Vegas? :I I dont have it anymore.. And if either fallout 3 or NV would be on steam, and the other one is *cough* .. not... How would it work anyway?
I've tried numerous other eye re-placer mods and this is by far the best. Most of the others look cartoonish and lifeless, but this is an essential mod for me. Highly recommended.
