    Is there a way you could make this time-limited? Like after a few weeks the guy might just get thirsty again... I don't like the cheating that the vanilla beggars are, but with realism, either they should be thirsty again or like, maybe gone and you see them inside at the brass lantern or something, like you actually saved their life.

    This is just one of those mods that is essential, but easily overlooked. I'm glad I found it!

    The water beggar is a cheat, pure and simple. This fixes it.

    Yep, that's exactly what it was. I've combined a number of them now and all is well. Sorry again for the alarm.

    @Greslin

    Are you possibly at max number of mods, I mean actual active esp/esm? If you are likeme you are, and you need to combine a few to reduce the number of esp loaded. See link for utility.

    Okay, now I'm not thinking it was your mod. Still having problems with the mod uninstalled and on a new game, so it's obviously not you. Sorry about that.

    There should be no problems if the beggars die, but the glitches are concerning ... there really shouldn't be any reason for that to happen.

    All I did was modified the beggars' script, the Water Beggars quest, and gave the Rivet City and Tenpenny beggars a reference ID ...

    Argh.. nice idea, I downloaded and plugged it in as soon as I saw it on Nexus. No more endless free karma!

    Unfortunately it seemed to have scrambled the heck out of my save games. Dunno know exactly why, but I ended up with lots of graphic issues in Megaton (Doc dressed in a big red triangle, etc.) and then the hard crashes started. After sifting through about an hour of saves, I found that the last save without this mod installed works fine, but every one since ended up a disaster. Can't say for sure it's your mod, but I uninstalled and all is once again fine.

    I'm running about 120 mods, so it could be a conflict with any number of them - don't know. But just a headsup.

    Remember that Broken Steel kills off the Megaton beggar as part of the 'Aqua Pura' side quests; although, he is not needed for the quest to start.
